    That's a great Army tip Barry. I go to isight, a manufacturing optical firm in Shepshed near Loughborough. Gayle who works there is ex Hoya and very knowledgeable and being manufacturers they will fit lens to existing frames. However due to current circumstances I am not sure of their current status.

    Barry14UK, before I had my cataracts I couldn't drive at night, the oncoming lights were just too overwhelming, Since then I have discovered two great brands. Firstly, Hoya EnRoute, incredible lightweight lens that make driving at night no longer a pain. Secondly, Serengeti sunglasses, these must be the best daytime drivers in the world. It's like looking at the world in HD. Check them out, neither are inexpensive but the difference is astonishing,

    Referring to an earlier note from someone on here, since owning an RX it definitely alters my auditory preferences from nothing to Mozart or John Coltrane all at a sedate pace. Whereas in my XKR and listening to John Fogarty and Travelling Band its really difficult to keep it below 100.😎

    No, unless you pre agreed terms and conditions that said you were part exchanging. Alternators are commonly refurbished and sold on for a good price. See eBay for examples. Did you buy new or refurbished?

    And if you bought 4? Seems odd policy but then they are American! As to ATS they start out at higher price point and the discount is in Amazon vouchers which is fine if you use the service. I have just bought a Faraday key case from amazon and it looks OK.

    Does anyone have a recommendation for a cargo net at a sensible price? Loads for sale on say amazon /ebay but hard to deduce if they're any good. Its only for occasional use, in anticipation of advice - thank you

    Sounds like a great deal especially with the strength of the Costco guarantees. I have Goodyear Asym 3's on my Jaguar Xkr and they have been/are brilliant. Come the time I will have no hesitation in buying same for my RX450H which are currently £110 at Oponeo.

    Hi, they are 7 cm in diameter and drop into the holders as per a coaster. I now have 6. Not only look good but easy to keep clean😊

    Not exactly mats as such but a great bit of frippery for your p&j Came across these on ebay, sold by angiegrecco London, £8 for 4! Silicon and Nice quality fit perfectly into cup/bottle holders.

    Ever thought of becoming a motoring journalist? You do a much better real-world review than people whose living depends on it. I know what you mean about interiors and I know it sounds like heresy but have you considered covers. There are some remarkable ones available especially from a Manchester firm. Be interested to know if any others members have a view? I am definitely thinking of same for the summer where I find fabric more accommodating, cheers Phil

    Insurance for 7 and tanner!! I seem to recall a marriage licence cost the same 😅😅 But at least you could change your insurance every year 😂😂😂
