    Don't get fixated on the tyres Steve, plenty of places will sell you used tyres to change back to for little cost should you decide to send the car back. But I think you need to be clear in your own mind as to "what would make you happy"? Then put your case to the dealer in writing as to the current situation, how you wish it resolved and the consequences financial and otherwise if you are unable to agree a suitable conclusion. The "in writing" is vital and send multiple copies to key managers if it's a large dealership

    Chaps, it's just a car! It's not a kidney dialysis machine that you need every hour 🤕, Distance selling regs plus a credit card gives you all the cover you need. Should it be the case that it doesn't meet your expectations then back it goes. Worst case is you have learned more than you knew before but critically tested those expectations against what is realistic for the price point you have in mind

    Hi Paul, I am new to Lexus but my previous posts will give you a flavour. My confusion is what exactly is an approved franchise? I bought my RX450H sight unseen from Lexus Newcastle and the processes in place are totally fine should it not work out. I have been very impressed. My one tip is to buy it via your credit card since this has consumer rights bulit in.

    I don't think that all motorists who pass a cyclist(eventually) wave in recognition do they? And when it's a closed fist it's a universally recognised non verbal cue for success, winning, victory etc. And why you don't write the word Buncoed in full escapes me clearly referring to the cost of that cycle and lycra😎

    Never understood cycling to be honest, everytime I see them in my area they have the most frightfull facial grimace. If that's a version of the pursuit of happiness I can only assume in inclement weather they retreat to the dungeon and Miss Whiplash 😉

    When you say over 30 are you referring to, inside leg measurement, hat size, waist size or IQ? If its the latter you have a lot to choose from in the LOC. Since you are clearly below 30 (witness your response) I venture you are a member of an even more select club. 🤭

    Generally speaking Will a firm won't just drop a revenue stream without explanation or replacing the proposition with another. If there is a temporary hiatus it probably means that the new proposition is better than the former.

    Valid point John, also how often do you anticipate going? I suspect a van rental is about £50 per day or about 40 visits to the tip. And it also means relatives or neighbours won't be knocking your door asking for help 🤠
