I know a little of Carl Sagan as I worked at the time for the company that built the Digital cameras for the Voyager spacecraft and Carl was known as an agnostic but he also agreed one can neither prove nor disprove the existence of a higher being. As to the conjecture over how many stars/grains of sand this was essentially a metaphor to express enormity of scale first mooted to ill-educated people , and as far as we know so far by the Summerians and later incorporated into parts of the Bible, And the scientific community continues to do the same thing but caveating their answers with, could be, might be, estimates conclude etc etc. That is to say they can neither prove nor disprove definitively.

It wasn't that long ago that your parents Paid an employer to take you on as an apprentice 😱. As the old saying goes, "when I was 16 my dad embarrassed me with how little he knew but by the age of 21 I was amazed by how much he had learnt in 5 short years 😂

Not quite sure in Surrey what a "dollar raise" is precisely 🤔 but you are fortunate enough to live in a Western Democracy where freedom of choice is mostly assured. You will only ever get paid what your employer thinks you are worth. If you think that you should get more put forward your case with numbers, if rejected then make a decision, leave, or stay as you are and prove your worth. If you do leave think about setting up on your own that way you can have the whole country assessing your worth rather than just one individual. 👍

Very odd, Asymmetric 5 replaces 3's yet my Germany date code is May 21? And they are a month old from Halfords.. At the time 5 was not an option for 235/55/19. I see Halfords are doing yours for 143 - 15%

I agree Nigel, my 450h is quite different from my XKR 😱 but not always in bad way. For example, on a flat surface it glides along and my new tyres have made a big difference. On some uneven rural roads however its a bit jangly, the chap from High Peak Autos compared it to one of those pneumatic Michelin men you used to see outside garage forecourts🤣. But as mentioned earlier this is a very heavy car and is a big imposing, tall SUV and darn sight more practical than my Jaguar in all sorts of ways. Fantastic to get in and out of and let's you look down on lesser mortals. 😈
