    Eh bah gum Ed, whatever tis this world comin too 🤣. I recall volunteering in 1972 for the Adult Literacy Scheme, teaching adults the rudimentary elements of the English Language. I taught them all I knew, Needless to say they soon overcame that disadvantage 🤣

    BOAC 😊 What a name that was Len! When flying was a civilised mode of transport and not for the hoi-polloi. That is my moan del dia, making flights more accessible to Spain set in motion such a decline in standards of manners, dress, consideration for others, I could go on but won't as I may upset the horses in the field next door 😎

"Apart from the obvious, the drunks, the stags and hen parties, the worst kind of passengers have to be the moaners." Does this mean some contributors to this topic should be more considerate of others and never fly again? 😊 At least that should assuage greta's hurt feelings 🤣

    Just not true Malc. Perhaps you never worked in a large corporate enterprise otherwise you would know a little more about Corporate governance. It is however fair to say that he would not read them all as he probably gets hundreds. But if you approach these things correctly and not in a bolshy manner and negative attitude then you can get results. For example ICAHN are big shareholders get onto them if you aren't getting any joy, they are aggressive equity holders.

    I think your comment George is somewhat misguided. In my experience whenever I personally had an issue they have been fantastic in resolving my situation. If you have any objection to an advert then they ask you to contact them, have you done that? I guess the answer is not in the affirmative. They are, fundamentally, a shop window, let's not ask the state to intervene because you are concerned about the safety of the glass 😊

    Sorry Herbs but it's on a "need to know basis" 🤣 in all seriousness I would drop a line to Lexus customer care. It may well be that initially only people with current Warranties are approached 🤔 how else might they know you are an owner?

    What a great post Ed, particularly like middle para 🤣 as to the last para, how can I put this delicately, there are some people in shops who live to the west of the English border who use indigenous talk when you speak English. However, when I speak Greek by some non technology based miracle their proficiency in English is to a Henry Higgins standard 🤣

    Perhaps you might mention the UK has more varieties of cheese than France 👍. Also they believe that the French language is best that's because they invented the concept of a diplomatic language to fulfil a deep inner desire to communicate to their peers the overwhelming need not to be happy but to complain. 😎

    Bootlaces 🤯 dug my dog walking boots out in preparation for what could be a long winter. Spent time buffing them up, tried them, lace broke 🤯. Having spent a summer with slip-ons made me realise what a pain laces are and don't get me started on my back pain 😱
