  1. Oh no this isnt the problem @NemesisUKi did bleed the brakes when I done it. The main foot brake is fine/ It’s the hand brake the problem. The little tiny one. the park brake is the problem that goes all the way down

Changed pads calliper and discs. not happy with foot brake how much it goes down to the floor / yes it works but seems so low. how do I adjust to make more tension : yes i see the rubber bits in the discs and behind there is something ??? How do I tighten get tension and do I have to do it in both sides ?? any help please

  4. Here’s the old calliper I didn’t take a photo of. I soaked and soaked and hammered it to pieces in a vice but still wouldn’t budge
  5. They are all rusty seized and full up with oil. mine pin that’s it but Lexus won’t sell it too me I’ve called a number of Lexus main dealers work shops and service departments to see if they have just have one in the work shop to buy. But of course not
  6. @Beamish yes I’ve seen them but I only need one of those clips so to spend £30 on one clip seems crazy 😒

  10. these clips i am missing one on the other side, the long one that goes from pin to pin and fits in the side. ive hunted high and low but you can only buy as one whole pad fitting kit not just the single retaining clip. any help please as need one urgently
  11. Ok I hope your right also don’t want Lexus to pick up when it goes in for a service and say brake pads are WRONG WAY ROUND
  12. Yes it’s fitted to the pad: I always thought it was ment to go on on the inside of where the piston is as that gets used the most/ I was going to Swap them round but if it doesn’t matter I will leave it
  13. Please can someone help me urgently. I put new brake calliper pads and discs on my Lexus IS 250c I’m confused where the wear indicator should be ?? Passenger side as shown in picture is at the front top. drivers side back bottom i think ? is this a problem
  14. @Texas please can you help me I’ve installed my new discs and pads but I’m worried as I’ve put the pads in and the wear indicators are in different places ?? Does this matter as I’m really worried now . Please see picture or it’s all fine this is on the front the drivers side is on the back

  16. Now it’s clear hahaha all makes sense now I have 2 copper washers m10 which only cost me 60pence from a nut and bolt hardware shop that does everything been going there the last 25 years of more
  17. Most parts here still waiting for a few more !! Let’s get them brakes done brakes for life
