I just recently had auto transmission oil replaced by a Lexus main dealer. When I put in sport in standstill position it goes straight to 4th gear? also automatic gears aren’t changing up and down as they should ??

Yesterday I went on to the dual carriage way. My auto box stayed in 4 then went to 5th gear I was going 70mph and it was stuck and wouldn’t shift to 6th: The gears weren’t dropping up or down correctly on the dash. today I played with paddle shift, all gears all over the place. One said 3 on the dash l, paddle shift 5 all over the place ???? Even on park when ready to pull away also gearbox feels like it’s slipping. Also can smell a burning smell from under bonnet and gear box slips Any help ?????

So suddenly my passenger door handle button won’t unlock the car ? It will lock the car ? It’s so strange how all of a sudden this happened ?? drivers handle and button works as it should?

I’ve done arhat also. mum also thinking there no different just the wiring but these are just plastic chrome covers I’ve found

I’ve found a set but says they are for left hand Models only . but what can be the difference???

Does anyone know where I can get chrome wing mirror cover for Lexus IS 250. The ones that will fit with indicators/ I’ve hunted high and low but can’t find chrome like below ?

I will defiantly do that next time. yes I have a local independent Toyota Lexus near me . My car is due in for a service next Saturday the 8th so I will explain and show them a picture.

I have extended warranty till 2023, strangely the camera has just came on but is blurry. lexus have to find the fault at the time if they don’t then nothing they can do.

Yesterday put my car into reverse and the screen monitor was black/ showed R on dash. Everything else was working perfectly, music; sat nav,usb and all other functions. . It was heavy rain so I checked and cleaned the camera. It came back very faint. Then later tried reverse again, camera was still not working and showing me black screen again. so annoying as relied on this for some time now and so handy. has anybody had this problem. i have got the Lexus extended warranty, not sure it covers it ? i know i will have to contact the dealers 😭

Yup that’s as maybe but it’s my brakes so can’t take any risks if I look at the positives it’s only money

Yes your probably right I have been done . but it’s done now I’ve spent my hard earned cash and gave it to them. really annoyed about it all. They see me coming is what it is I’ve payed my money now

@eleveneleven Who know what they done , they put down 1 hour labour £140 plus vat but didn’t charge me . yes very expensive fix. i have a warranty and 2 free mot. I could if taken some where else payed a extra. But would Lexus really want to do a 6 hour job dropping half the car down to change some corroded pipes if they really didn’t really need changing ??? i contact a my lock independent Toyota Lexus and they did they wouldn’t do it if it wasn’t necessary as it’s a days labour. another mechanic said it’s very border line from picture. so now basically got all new brakes. 2 new callipers on passenger side front and rear. new dics front and rear new brake pads front and rear now new pipes. the Lexus extended warranty covered brake callipers. So I got my money back on the warranty plus a head light last year which was £600.

Lexus replaced both sides front to back £1073 and done a free aircon check and ant clean that wa salad with £150 discount
