They sent a Autoglass out again with 2 new ones however the problem was all the clips are broken. the jibe couldn’t be competed being a Lexus is 250c this is a huge problem and half the car needs to be dismantled to fix this issue. I’ve found a clip on YouTube . also today I washing the car there is water trapping and going behind the scuttle cover . please see picture/ this is where the water is going ???? LEXUS IS 250 c 2009 I HAD MY REAR PASSENGER TPMS SENSOR CHANGED LAST SEPTEMBER WITH A GENUINE PART AND RE-PROGRAMMED BY A LEXUS TECHNICIAN. THE TPMS DASH LIGHT HAS JUST COME ON. I WENT TO COSTCOS TYRES TODAY AND THEY TESTED ALL THE SENSORS. FRONTS ARE OK BUT BOTH REARS HAVE NO READING AND FAILED ?? VERY STRANGE NOT EVEN ABLE TO READ ?? any help please or advice
-
The light has now come on afte 100miles of driving. Must of been a glitch in the system. panic over everything works as it should
-
Yes maybe the unit is confused I’m told it’s behind the stereo head unit i will deflate tyre near a pump at the petrol station to see if your theory is correct very strange
-
The point I’m making is I’ve put a non tpms sensor wheel on and it’s registered as if everything is ok ?? why ??
-
What’s strange @NemesisUKis that the dash light should of come on but hasn’t
-
No it’s a another 5 spoke Lexus alloy with tyre I bought as I have a 250c I have gel pump in boot

I have had so many problems with steering and pulling to the left and when I brake the car goes all over the place. This is one of the common faults from googling

Got a diagnostic check today for auto transmission and all ok test drive no faults. But these codes came up but they said I have to go to auto mechanics. what are they? what does history mean ?

Yes I would just do it myself. Very easy simple quick and genuine parts very affordable. Hahah very tire about the others although i do use kwikfit for 4 wheel alignment which I bought the fro check 2years 6 checks £100 Halfords for certain parts as they very competitive now but never would I allow them touch my car 😂 I do everything for myself even on the Lexus. Although I’ve had so much work done. cost me a ridiculous amount one changing both sides of the brake pipes front to back costing over £1080 die to heavy corrosion.

Well I have one free mot left. mid they won’t offer the relax or extended warranty then I won’t be getting them to be doing the service as it’s only a oil change, pollen filter key fob battery £300.
-
Yes there’s no longer extended warranty, lecus have cancelled their contracts and now have the relax. not sure I will be able to go onto that after my extended warranty ends in January 2023
-
In the small print it states take to your your preferred repairer ??
-
I will ask, next week I will take it there. No need to book either. also if they find a problem my extended warranty will cover it the. The question is do I get them to repair or get Lexus 🤔
-
This makes a lot of sense worry over although I have found a good local auto transmission company £20 diagnostic check and test drive https://www.automatic-gearbox.co.uk/lexus-gearboxes/

@Vlad @ColinBarber how do I get a slipping gearbox diagnosed and tested ???
