    Also I’ve been using redex every 2 weeks for the past couple of months it has really helped my fuel consumption and performance just 1/2 a bottle every full tank.

    I disconnected the battery as I know anything electrical is going to get confused. Being a sensor and plugged in it was obvious to me. Yeah the crc wasn’t available locally and only eBay but my research cam back with the WD-40 contact cleaner which can be used on the throttle body also £5.50 from Halfords. Very happy

    Also reset maf sensor to regulate the revs as they will be sky high. Don’t panic perfectly normal ..step1-3 Let engine run 3 mins switch off 1 min same thing again. Leave engine off for 5mins then Start engine, foot on the brake pedal till anti skid lights up. Then Take for a drive. Carful though as it takes off like a rocket and will scare you with the extra power. 😂

    I was in 2 minds. but I like it makes it look modern and sporty and so it should it’s a convertible hard top which lacks sport and power 😂

    @mrvlad here we have a nice clean mag sensor and throttle body. Here’s the steps also don’t forget to disconnect battery

    They also recommend WD-40 Specialist Fast Drying Contact Cleaner So I will buy some from Halfords as it’s only £5.50 and recommended number 2

    The illuminated front grill badge I’ve imported from Canada. It hasn’t arrived yet 😭 It’s 2 wires very quick ive got a diagram . I’m probably going to piggy back the fuse instead not sure yet. You can also tap into the headlights but that’s risky .

    Here’s a few pics There’s a few upgrades like the Illuminated lights also changing the badge on rear and emblem on front grill also wheel centre caps to black . tinted windows. Few things inside to. at some point I will also upgrade the stereo with grom audio

    This weekend I will buy some mass cleaner and clean the maf sensor and throttle body. looks a pretty easy straight forward job and very cheap £4 for the cleaner and it works on the throttle body too so bonus

    Thanks for all your comments. the spark plugs were last changed by Lexus at 63,000 miles in 2013. Air filter changed last service in January this year by Lexus. yes you do get full power throttle to the floor redlined max. it probably has had a leisurely life till I got it lol. I have had had some fun in it max pedal to metal.

    Hi there, I want to add a rain sensor to my is 250 c. Is there already a wire loom there and I can just plug and go. I know Lexus often have everything in the cars for upgrades ?? any help please

    yes i have the top grill with the original badge as shown in second picture. thats the emblem i want to upgrade to ///??? IS NOT POSSIBLE ?? i dont have adaptive cruise control. thats an upgrade think
