    I’m in Kent well border of south London. Yeah there’s one 1 road away, they are good but very pricey. the only reason I say dealer as it was purchased from a dealer and I also have extended warranty till January 2023. Was wondering if they would do a good price and not rip me off

    @Mr Vlad The roof is so bad from bird poo residue and due to be aluminium it’s deteriorated and it’s so bad. I will upload a picture tomorrow in the light. not sure if to get a quote through my Lexus main dealer and see how much they come back with.

    @Mr Vlad I only spent £48 for the polisher from EBay. Also the polish was 3 for 2 In Halfords ! The pads were pretty crap but the swirls were so bad it was the only way. Most of the swirls are gone and the paint work looks outstanding . But in the process I took 2 chunks out when I get the the roof resprayed I will get those bits touched up and a few others. It’s the price we pay for doing a professional detailers job ourself/ I just went straight for it .

    @scudney I’ve also been very busy getting swirls out of my car I used a polisher abs also caused a bit of damage to my car upsetting day . I used autoglym super resin and extra gloss. Swirls Mostly gone and a lot of scratches but 2 bad marks I done on the bumper and near the wing mirror 😭

    Wd-40 -‘d auto sol braso they aren’t cleaning up I’m trying to find some new after market ones but non existent

    So I was cleaning my car and looked at the state of my exhaust ends so I’ve taken them off tried to clean but they are a mess. i want to get new ones after market ones ?? has any body changed them ?? these have been on the car since new 2009 ....

    @scudneyYeah they are fine clean but I only have 2 on the front and the placement is terrible as they dont pick up or detect so want to add 2 more either side of the number plate

    So on my Lexus IS 250c I only have 4 parking sensors altogether in the front and rear. The front 2 are useless and literally do nothing same as the rear but I have a reversing camera. Is it possible to buy some OEM ONES, drill extra holes and then lug and go ??? many help please ??

    I want to replace this amplifier for a bigger one and connect a sub woofer boom box to it ? which one can I get to do this job ?? does anyone have any ideas @Mr Vlad @scudney

    Thanks @colinbarber yes it’s the pioneer system !but.... Can I adapt a boom box to that amp or is it useless and require a new amp

    @cruisermark Do you have a picture of what I’m looking for ? will it be in my Lexus IS 250c considering I don’t have a mark Levison system just the standard one

    I was hoping it was the mark Levison amplifier and I could connect onto it to add a boom box in my boot

    Cleaning my Lexus IS 250c took everything from the boot and found this electronic unit but I’m not sure why this is. Please see picture and tell me ?

    I got the centre caps from eBay they are after market. Have a look on eBay I’m sure your find the bmw colour match !

    Finally got round to taking my wheels of refurbing scuffed alloys with a kit I bought on eBay. also put my new black centre caps on. also I cleaned wheel arches ! @ahmed-abrar @scudney

    I don’t have a spare wheel as it’s a convertible. I will go underneath tomorrow and have a look. I changed all the front slider pins but didn’t on the back. I greased one side But I will have a look on the side that’s knocking. my feeling is it’s suspension / bushes

    Drove my car on a back street bumpy road today and could hear a very annoying loud knocking noise from the rear. I've checked the hood and made sure theres no lose bolts or anything that be causing it. Definitely not the roof ! ANYBODY GOT ANY IDEAS OR ISIT A TRIP TO THE MAIN DEALER. ALSO I HAVE AN EXTENDED WARANTY SO SHOULD BE COVERED ?
