  1. Myself and other people who drove both. Lexus documentation does not talk about normal mode tuning, only sport modes.
  2. Both specs use the same parts, from springs to shocks and controller, just the tuning is different. Luxury corresponds to Premier I suppose.
  3. Hello, I'd like to try flashing the Luxury suspension tune on my 2016 GS F-Sport 300h. I know someone that has Techstream and could give me a hand, do you know how one would go about doing this? I have the VIN of a similar model that is a Luxury spec. I suppose a Lexus dealer wouldn't assist me with doing this, I've inquuired around but got no response. Thank you!
  4. My 2018 GS has a crack on the top of one of the headlights, and the inside of the transparent plastic got dirty. I'd really like to clean that, do you know if there's any way to get something in there without un-glueing the housing? Anyone knows what the grey part is in the picture?
  5. Rear steer is a very rare option, just decode the VIN to see if the car you're interested in has it but it's a slim chance.
  6. You can get Textar (OE brand in this case) for a good price. Or order OEM, I made my first order from megazip (not rotors or pads but caliper brackets and some bushings) and they appear OEM, price was quite good.
  7. It seems breaks are also not in good order and I need to replace caliper brackets+the glinding bolt so pads aren't sticking to the rotors. Will report the consumption once that is done.
  8. Right, then it's probably the attached, found here https://autocatalogarchive.com/lexus/. Lexus-GS-2015-UK.pdf
  9. You can check to see if the UK brochure is of any help (first link after I searched "lexus gs uk brochure"), see page 24 and onwards: https://media.lexus.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2021/06/1517227368180125MGSfullrelease.pdf
  10. After cleaning the battery cooling filters, the system is working properly and staying well below the 120F DrPrius is reporting as the threshold. However, I'm still getting 0.5-1l/km above my IS fuel consumption, could the extra weight (I asume about 100kg) and bigger wheels (19 vs 18) lead to such an increase?
  11. I will clean the hybrid cooling filter. Is there a procedure for resetting the hybrid system? It doesn't go into hybrid mode when it should, does Toyota have such a procedure or can an owner do anything like that?
  12. The IS has largecF-sport-like wheels, but anyway the consumption is way too high for a 300h motor. Brake wear is normal, I will give it a Dr Prius scan. Would the trips graph show only similar consumption trips or somewhat of an average? If it's an average it would mean the car has always had high consumption which is crazy.
  13. Hello, I've just bought a late 2016 GS 300h F-Sport, after driving an IS 300h for more than a year. Its fuel consumption for the first 300+ km has been 8.8l/km, with AC on, mostly non-urban. This is a far cry from my 6.8 in the IS. I've looked at the stats on the main screen for previous runs and they were averaging the same values, lowest was 5.5, highest 8.9. The car has sat for a bit (1-2 months, maybe more, I don't know). Can I expect this to come down to normal values? Any ideas what the cause might be? It runs into hybrid mode just about fine, and it has passed the hybrid battery test this week... Thank you!
  14. Very reliable and decent footage. Haven't had any issues with any of the 3 I've had so far. But I do have an issue with the software, no downloaded footage ever had sound, submitted a bug report but no success. Mounted it myself, for the Lexus I didn't connect it directly to the fuses as the lid at the driver's legs wouldn't fit anymore. I've routed the cable around the passanger side into the console into the USB ports.
  15. Been using the 70mai from Xiaomi on all my cars, hidden in front of the mirror.
