    Looks great! Did smart tuning provide the unit? Any noticeable lag etc? Very curious whether USB works instead of Bluetooth as surely there’s an audio quality difference Amazing to see this getting this fitted though, looks painful to see the dash apart like that but CarPlay / AA is definitely worth it

    Hey Paul, I’m planning on purchasing a 2017/2018 LC soon and CarPlay/Android Auto is a must for me, please do keep us updated how it goes as it’s almost impossible to find UK owners who’ve got it fitted within the factory screen

    It doesn’t happen to be a White exterior, Red interior with Sport Plus (+HUD and ML) by any chance? I’m in the long process of waiting for the right ad to pop up as there aren’t any considerable choices on Autotrader etc

    Just adding to the above, seems multiple Lexus centres/sources have different answers. - One said it’s available as a retrofit across all LC’s (2017 onwards) with a sat nav upgrade - One said CarPlay isn’t available on any LC’s at all (even brand new LC’s - which we know is wrong but odd that they’re issuing that info to customers) - Lexus UK on Twitter says MY21’s only have CarPlay and there are no retrofit options on any previous years

    Hi all, Considering an LC500 sometime in the next year, however after looking for forums I’m still not 100% certain which LC’s have Apple CarPlay? From what I’ve seen so far, it seems only possible to get CarPlay on MY21’s, is this right? An alternative would be using dashboard mounted solutions or perhaps GROM, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

    I've seen lots of NXs and UXs, a little less of the RX. Hardly seen anything else, one RC, one ES and one LC so far in the last month.

    Update: Found out it's a 17 speaker, the dealer was just confused. Just put a deposit own on a 2020 ES so all sorted now! 🙂

    Hi, I've got a couple questions about a MY2019 ES300h F-Sport with Takumi pack I'm currently looking at: 1) Were there any changes between the 2019 and 2020 model years? It seems 2021 has a few updates so can I assume nothing was added 2020? 2) As it's an F-Sport with Takumi pack, it has the Mark Levinson sound system, however my Lexus dealer says it has a 15 speaker system? I was unaware there was a 15 speaker system fitted to the ES, does anyone know if this is correct? (I thought it was 17) Thanks in advance!

    I agree, definitely avoiding now. I'm currently looking for my first Lexus so I really appreciate everyone's advice on this. Just to add I believe I've found an ES300h F-Sport which fits my needs much better, doesn't look as good but has way more features and looks great in it's own way 🙂 (And as a bonus it's from a Lexus dealer!)

    That's what I'm thinking, the seller isn't even willing to reduce on price either. Also some other issues have popped up, although the seller has sent pictures and some videos (which look ok but doesn't compare to seeing in person), he hasn't mentioned condition at all and just describes it as a 'nice car', since I've asked for details on the condition, I've had no response yet. for £30k I would have appreciated a little more information about a car I can't even go and see. Might just hold off until I buy from a dealer or I can see in person.

    Hi, Currently looking at a 300h which has compression/dents to the upper steering wheel leather. It seems the last owner didn't expect their steering lock to damage or didn't really care about it which is a shame. Does anyone have any solution to restore it as best as possible? Lexus Stoke have quoted me £1800 for a replacement which is not ideal Thanks in advance!

    Hello! I'm looking to purchase an RC300h F-Sport 2016 in the next few weeks and I've got a question about the adaptive cruise control. How can I tell if the RC has standard or adaptive cruise control? Is it the distance button? The one I'm currently looking at has just the lane departure alert button (Picture attached) Seems strange they left out adaptive cruise control considering it's available on loads of other models Thanks in advance!
