  1. Sometimes I need to angle the nozzle a little bit, maybe to 8 o’ clock, it seems to depend on the pump type. Some are fine, but I’ve found sainsbury’s to be the worst for it. Previously, I had a BMW Z4M coupé, and this was always very difficult to fill at sainsbury’s. Often had to have the nozzle upside down, various lengths to even get it to flow slowly. At BP and Shell stations, it wasn’t really a problem
  2. A car that low, with sunken wheels just makes me feel a bit queasy.
  3. Even easier with black cars, just use a marker pen
  4. Having come to the RCF from a straight six BMW M, the fuel economy isn’t that much worse, despite two extra cylinders. On a long run, it seems quite reasonable to me, but it’s all a matter of context. Try running a Mustang, or an older Vantage, then see how the fuel gauge makes you weep at night.
  5. I’d agree with this. I’d spent about 8 months looking, and hoping to find one to view nearby. Called my local Lexus dealer, but they never had an RCF, or any other F cars come into stock during that time. Those that were available were always well down south, apart from that ratty RCF Nottingham had I’d given up the search temporarily during lockdown 2, but that was when one appeared for sale, which was also the first under a 2 hr drive to view. I’d discovered it was a previous forum car, while doing my research. Was the first to view it, and the deal was done within a couple of days. I had a nice car before, but the RCF is amazing Had I known how good they are, I’d have made the journey to Kent or wherever.
  6. Sounds similar to mine. I only get it occasionally at low speed, when pressing very lightly on the brake pedal, slowing to a stop. Never does it any other time.
  7. Are there any cars at all which have a pinkish red paint on the inside of the exhaust from the factory? Really not sure what they are trying to achieve here, it looks grim, and will surely just burn up after driving for a while.
  8. Mine have a bit of a squeal when slowing to a stop, but are otherwise ok.
  9. Nooooooooo! Nooooooooo! Nooooooooo! Wtf? 🤮
  10. Hello & welcome. That really looks lovely!
  11. Pleased the RCF sailed through the MOT. Got a few compliments on the car from the mechanics, when I picked her up. A couple of them waited outside to hear what she sounded like as I drove off. I was happy to oblige with some blips and a swift exit 😁
  12. Looks amazing! Suffering from envy here. Hope you get a lot of enjoyment over the miles 👍
  13. I expect the wrap material is quite expensive in itself. While there isn’t going to be the same kind of prep as required for a respray, there will still be a lot of prep. As I’m sure you know, to do something well takes time, skill and experience. This is often the largest part of the cost, and hopefully means no hassles after the job is completed.
  14. Get the sun roof open too, to let in a bit more of the racket 😉
  15. There is quite often a white LC in Heald Green, looks lovely. Not sure if it’s a 500, or the hybrid.
