Glue one on the rear window and take it off when no longer wanted.

I did remember: This is normal here. Picture above show another CT with 6.5 and that is from a car business that is trying to sell the car. They could have just kept the standard from Lexus showing between 3.8 and 4.4 L/100km.

I do not think any of the teams played fantastic. One goal was good to see (lucky or not), the rest were errors from one or another. Either one could have won a penalty shootout so that is no problem. Sunday we will see if I am wrong believing it will be boring defensive football from both sides.

I know nothing about the navigations system in the Lexus from around 2000, But I do remember the first navigations system that was functioning was factory Becker in MB cars and though they were a pain to insert addresses in (just like in the 2016 CT) they always found the direction (not like the navigations system in the 2016 CT). According to the link you have here it seems that you could be lucky. Lexus has never been first in infotainment and their navigations system is not really smart. That Google is better there is no secret. Please inform about the contact with Grom as doing something to make navigation easier in the Lexus OEM monitor is a wish for more than a few of us, I believe. Updating the maps from Lexus cost a fortune and the interface with the navigation is a pain.

Other places a dive like that could have been a yellow to the diver, but correct not an obvious error that VAR had to interfere with. That VAR did not interfere with 2 balls on the pitch is an obvious error from the side of VAR. Unfortunately there is no VAR to control VAR. England won no matter if referee fault or not. Next game could be a bummer though. Both teams play boring defensive football trying not to let any goals in. Hope I am wrong. Too bad we are not shown South American football here as they play with a lot more finesse and players there are acting as if they like playing, while a lot of European footballers seem to be happier with their bank accounts and showing off their wealth than the game they are supposed to like.

I got new lenses in both eyes in 2001 - 2 or 3 as I had cataract and was not seeing clear. Since then I have had no eye problems. Was told that when I grow old I would need glasses to read, but maybe not yet old. Before the new lenses I used glasses; I was near-sighted and not allowed to drive car without glasses or contact lenses. That is still written in my driver's licence, nobody wants to correct that and I do not really care as I pass the tests when renewing my licence without problems. The plastic lenses are supposed to last longer than I. Pretty sure doctors are better now, so go see a good one. Better to drive to Spain than to fly and sit in a cramped chair and needing a taxi to get around.

Installation did not function. According to installation manual it should update automatic when inserting the USB but nothing happened. Try again tomorrow and hope for luck. Install-Guide-Lexus-SW-19+Aug+2015-1.pdf MapUpdateGuide.pdf

That is what I told Lexus here and they told me the car is in perfect order and consume is not more than many other have. There are many CT's driving around here. We did not really look for the car because it is supposed to consume very little, more because it is comfortable and not so big that a parking place is impossible to find; plus handling is excellent and the excellent music is a plus. First car we have had where no idea about installing music has been of interest. Next service is in September so then will have it controlled again. Hybrid battery is fine, usually when parking the battery is full and when starting the car 2 or 3 days later it still shows full. If something was wrong with that it probably would have lost a couple of bars. Most of our tours are 5 - 10 km. Once, when we just got the car, we were driving down south and back again where road is mostly flat (not like in Denmark, but no mountains) and consume on computer showed a bit more than 5L/100km; supposedly hybrids should be good driving short trips, buying stuff, driving little one to school and so on, what we mostly use the car to. Here is a picture from an ad selling a CT here in Spain https://www.coches.net/lexus-ct-18-200h-luxury-5p-electrico-hibrido-2018-en-a_coruna-49248253-covo.aspx Could mean that 6.5 is normal here.

Get better my friend. Spain is a blessing in September compared to UK.

Will take a picture next time in car (if I remember). Lexus here tell me the car we have is supposed to use no more than 3.8L/100km. We use less than double so it is OK. The Golf 2.0tdi DSG we had before was supposed to consume 5L/100km. Same driver as in the CT and same driving style: Consume in the Golf was 5.5L/100km.

The 2016 we have is supposedly is best possible order (according to Lexus/Toyota here). Tyres Pirelli P7 something with still too much in them to get new. Fuel since changing to Shell from BT has been registered and when seeing the kilometres driven and the litres of fuel put in over a bit more than 700km it tell us that 7,238 L is used each 100 km. Consider that to be rather precise. Filling to brim here would be valid only if same gasoline pump was used each time. Horizontal is horizontal, but not all gasoline stations here have horizontal ground.

Are they quiet? Or does it not matter when the engine is running?

Hi to you all, I learned 2 things today (meaning the day is not totally wasted); one good and one not good at all. In order not to end pessimist I start with the not so good thing: EU car producers have been fined 875000000€: Audi, Daimler, BMW, VW & Porsche knew in 2009 how to reduce pollution from diesel engines and instead of competing with the knowledge in order to reduce pollution, they agreed to keep their secret - secret. The deal was to: not reduce dangerous particles from diesel engines more than demanded by the EU. Probably to save money researching and to have more profit. They car makers kept up “the good work” till 2014. What made Daimler break up the cooperation I do not know? They are the only company not paying any fine because they informed Margrethe Vestager about the thing. https://www.dw.com/en/european-commission-finds-german-automakers-illegally-colluded-on-emissions-technology/a-48218578 Now the good thing that I expect some or many of you know already: We can download free updates to our navigations system (some of us, maybe and maybe not all of us) on the web site: https://www.lexus.eu/owners/ sign in to My Lexus on the link Owners and find the country to sign in to (I tried for fun UK but when entering my license plate details they redirected me to Spain). I signed in and ended up where I could get something “FOR FREE” from Lexus: Updates from 2021 – 2099: Still have not installed it in the car, but will later today. These files were downloaded and unzipped: These files contain a variety of information types, maps, points of interest, multimedia, voice samples, etc. The strange thing is that all but one is exactly same size. While this may be well known to you, I have not seen that mentioned in the forum, but have of course not been everywhere.

Maxxis are great tyres for mountainbike, second only to Schwalbe (for me) but they are not seen as quiet tyres on cars. In an RX450h I suppose it does not matter as the big car probably is quieter than a CT. All in all it seems that all or at least most tyre companies are more interested in developing all season tyres as there are more market for these so the latest all season tyres may not be needed where we live, but may still be best choice.
-
We have tourists from UK here now. Down south of the island, place for holyday. For living we find the north side better.
-
No. Not at all. If you know of summer tyres that are better I am interested. Rain season here usually last between 5 and 10 minutes.
-
Having read so much good here about these Michelin they will come on when the Pirelli on the CT need replacement.
-
Correct. It is legal. I consider it not as good as 4 same type.

Actually I just wanted to tell Martyn not to worry for not reading the manual as first thing. I also try things first and rather often am lucky. With regard to the manual I do not think I am that much wrong. While Lexus has a reputation for making excellent hardware, their software has never been of same quality. Maybe they are now catching up, but there could be a reason why I read somewhere in the forum that the entertainment software in the new Corolla is superior to the same in the new Lexus. Also I get the impression that Toyota is about to be putting all their eggs in one basket named Toyota and Lexus is fading. It may be a smart move as the company is large enough to keep the brand in top above competition. Lexus seems to be design more than anything else, while still hopefully staying reliable and having superb finish. More or less like B&O which is fabulous design for far too much money compared with competing quality brands. -

Be happy, don't worry. We all think manuals are too difficult to find useful hints in. No system in them, all is spread around and organized by coincidence. -
Lexus Petrol Fuel System Cleaner?

Could not be because it does not function and thus does not sell? -

The one we have open halfway down when holding the open button. Closes completely when holding the close button, also if the windows are all way down. -
If only the NX looked like this.

No. It would be no good in a desert. But OK as a lawn mover -

Which program did you use to cut out the pictures? Try Inkscape, it is easier to use than CorelDraw, Illustrator, Photoshop and Xara Desisgner Pro. And I forgot to mention: It is free, like in does not cost anything. -

Not all have same taste. Looks like something from a horror movie or a designer trying to make a rally version of a hybrid which is - whatever.
