Fog lights in our CT are LED from factory and the light from the fog lamps is white. No problem at all with that. Contacted an old friend that is still working in car accessories and he told me that halogen today can get as white as to 3500 Kelvin and that is how far the gas inside halogen lamps can go (before halogen was max 3000). White is around 4800 to 5600 and LED are usually sold as 6000 which is a little to the blue side but still not as blue as Xenon gas can go; some can be as blue as 8000 - maybe even 10000 which is what was wanted when Xenon lamps were introduced and Audi had some very blue light on from factory for a while. LED can be made in many colours but white as sunlight is what I prefer. In 1970 and a bit later all French cars had very yellow halogen head-light, both low- and high beam and that was mentioned as good in fog, but that is not the colour you see in new cars (and not in French cars either) so maybe placing lamps lower so the light gets down to the road instead of up in the air is making more difference than colour of the light. john

Original LED low beam, original LED fog light, halogen ugly colour high beam (probably original as it is never used, the low beam is sufficient). Thinking of buying LED for high beam as well since the car has washing for headlight already and washing seems not needed for the fog light since there is none. The fog lights were controlled here when car was approved for 2 more years so it may be different in different countries.

Our CT has LED fog lights. The washer that is required is only for the headlights and is not washing the fog lights. Also fog lights are supposed to be placed very low on the car and can/should light up beneath the fog. Cars built with LED headlights (and HID/Xenon) bulbs must/should also have a system to adjust the light so it will emit light same level and distance when loaded in the rear of the car as with a driver only in it in order not to blind oncoming traffic. https://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/ is for cars older than 2014 and will only show halogen as light for CT, while we have LED from factory.

In HJ today; What do we think of this answer?

I have been doing lots of kilometres in Honda cars and the first gen CRX was not comfortable but fun. Had a Civic and went from Denmark to South Spain in it twice without problems, not fantastic comfortable either, but were younger then. Honda Accord Coupé is absolutely in no way less comfortable than many other comfortable cars and as I see it the new Civic is almost same size as the Accord was 10 - 15 years ago. Honda makes excellent diesel engines. Their marine diesels last forever. Only thing I find wrong in the answer is that the RX450h is mentioned as worn out because it is from 2011 with 42000 miles and that is stupid if well maintained. Of course it will be more comfortable than a Honda Civic, but if only economy counts, then the diesel could be having an advantage. That is the old CRX that was used to commute to work around 55 km each way. Winter is no problem as soon as the engine is warm. -
He will surely answer honest as usual.

Better behaviour is something to wish for in all countries in the world. UK hooligans are not exactly known for being open-minded people. Some call a lot of them racists and bullying is standard as well as fighting. Putin has his own motorbike gang; pretty sure it is more or less the same many places. Believing in better behaviour and diplomatic communication is nice but believing will hardly help the ones suffering from not so good behaviour. Long live corruption. It is everywhere. Some places it is called lobbying, but it is the same. What can we do? Nothing.

Foot well lights on

Yes, yes. In 2004 they were more polite than in 2016. Nobody tell me anything when starting the car. 😢 -

You must be happy that there is light so your feet can see the pedals. Same in a CT. No problem for us as the light is not bright and disturbing. -
I know what I am doing wrong. Some shops her still do not like families coming in (one person only or + child (not children)) so I pretty often sit waiting in the car; here air condition is not only for keeping the car dry in winter, so it is running constant. Difficult to find a parking place in the shadow. Waiting 20 minutes with air condition puts consume from 5.7 to 6.2 (since refuel, yesterday) as no kilometres are added; only gasoline is used to keep temperature OK. Tried without music but that did not make any difference (do not play very loud, it is not a disco) so I suppose my poor efficiency of use of petrol is due to too much waiting in car. No problem, I sit well and the music is great and nobody tell me they do not like the jazz I play. So part of the extra the car consumes is due to air condition and liking to sit in the car listening to my music. If only using the car for driving around like most do, I suppose consume would be around 5.7L/100km. The 3.8 Lexus claim is possible is nothing but hot air and bull****. AI is extremely fast and efficient here

While all you inform is correct, the CT has a Sport mode turning the round know to the right. That will give (depending on how much the hybrib battery is charged) somewhere between 3 and 10 seconds of acceleration that will be enough to get the car feel quite lively.

It came home again. But does it matter? Not where many in UK wanted. Hope people behave when going home. We drive in great cars and that we can be happy about in a forum like this. In my opinion.

Had a Honda Accord Coupé 2.2 and did about 800km weekly a few years. Deduction in tax paid for gasoline and tyres etc. Working in a car company so maintenance was costing nothing. Do not know if government pay you for your commute to work in UK, but driving in the Honda was very comfortable. I think a Lexus would be just as good. -

150,000 miles is close to 241,100 kilometres. 15 years is a long time. Supposedly not only for the IS models. If Lexus is offering such a warranty in UK it could be in the rest of Europe also? That the cars are reliable are a proven fact, so how much we generally will save (if anything) is hard to know, but for the unlucky ones with expensive to repair problems it certainly could be an interesting warranty to have. Now to the question that will answer if it is so good that we all need it: How much does it cost and which are the conditions?

All over the world. Football is not a game of sport. Football is a way of making money. It is a job. Like all other jobs. For some just better paid. Cheating is common. Not just in football. The emperor of Rome was not stupid like some seems to think. Give the public bread and entertainment and you will have no revolutions.

Is this something international or UK only? -
Different ways of driving, different roads, different countryside (flat or mountain). Different consume. Wait in the car 20 minutes with air condition on and consume jump from 5.7 to 6.1 Air condition is using fuel. Here where we live, we use air condition. Keeping the car 23 degrees C is a blessing-
-
We have maybe so many hills and mountains so consume is higher than in UK, but we pay only 1.1€ each L for Super 98. Yesterday I saw petrol station with about 50 cars waiting to fill up and they were patiently waiting. 0.89€ per L. No super only regular 95 octane. Diesel was even cheaper.

CT is a great car. Drives well and is comfortable. Some get great mileage and some not so much. Bringing us happy from A to B and we enjoy the silence of the car.

Got a yellow light telling me tank needs more gas. Showed 15 km left. Drove about 10 km to nearest gas station. Still 15 km left. Funny way of calculating. Room for 34.8 L.

Filled the car, 35L. Went on highway and bothered the other on the road with driving 80km/H for around 20km. Consumption 5.5L/100km. After a few kilometres in city from highway to home it climbed to 6.1.
