Ultra Sonic Blue - 3 x ISF on AT

Good to live in a country where it never is cold. For the car of course. -
A friend of mine has a house that is not sellable. Experts said that smell from smoking cannot be completely removed. I do not think that smell from smoking can be removed completely from leather or carpets.

Cigarette smoke is the worst, some cigars are not smelling all that offensive; an old friend smoked pipe with something that was smelling like Lapsang Souchong Tea. Nicotine may not be the most dangerous of killers but I am sure that some of the stuff put in the tobacco for smelling or whatever is not healthy. Prefer clean mountain air.

Different people have different views of cars. Having a car extra in order ot keep one sparkling clean is not something for me. Do not have 2 garages, do not want to pay insurance for 2 cars, do not need 2 cars. The ES is a beautiful car and I am sure it can carry a bike and still be in good condition. Wanting the best I am pretty sure that even though the Saris Bones did a good job for me, the Thule is from a a far higher quality company. https://www.thule.com/en-gb/buyers-guide?c=bike+carriers&q=7dhmKUFAJ

No matter which I use before parking Car always starts in normal. -
If all you want a tow bar for is carrying a bike there are plenty of possibilities. Specialists in Japanese cars: https://yakima.com/ So far, I have not seen a car this could not fit on and carry a bike: https://www.mekster.se/thule-thule-raceway-2-659565.html?msclkid=12cf771dfbb015d48489166f7fd186e4 I had one of these on a MR2 Spyder, never hurt the car; easy on – easy off: https://www.saris.com/product/bones2

Will the fog lights be any help?

When someone make a dangerous situation in front of you it is the automatic sensing system that tell the brakes to act, Not the CVT. On the CT we have it is absolutely over-impressive. In my mind it reacts a bit more than I think necessary, but better safe than sorry, so it may be correct thinking Lexus has made it from.
-
I used the paddles most of the time in the Smart Roadster Coupé. Wife never used them. The CT does not have paddles.
-
Yes, the CT is a great car. We are happy with the one we have. Surprised me that Lexus in 2020 is making a car that does not have automatically folding mirrors. I thought that the newer the car the more items would become standard. I would go to the nearest Lexus and ask if it really is like that.

Once when the MB300SEL 6.3 was running out of gas I think it needed more than 100L to fill it. Never cared about the range of it; had a company credit-card to fill it up and did that when needed. Being retired it is a different matter.

thinking of getting a dash camera fitted
Las Palmas replied to Barry A's topic in Lexus CT 200h Club
First phone I had with a camera was not really good so that will not be OK today. But the cameras in smartphones 5 years ago were sufficient to take good enough pictures to prove what has happened and they were not big. 4K pictures on a 65" TV are nice to look at but not at all needed for a dashcam. So the cameras today will in my eyes not need to be better in the future meaning they will not get outdated. Regarding the OS on navigation, unfortunately that is not better with the new maps. Completely idiotic OS Lexus has. -

I do not see how a camera can be outdated if it is good when installed. The wiring in the rear window is already there for antennas and heating. Navigation in Lexus is not bad because it is outdated. We have latest update in (so it is not outdated) and it is still as clumsy and stupidly made as when it was new. We have a Garmin Nüvi which is maybe 5 or more years old and it is not outdated as updates are coming yearly. Garmin know how to make navigation systems; Lexus has the chosen the wrong partner to make their navigation systems. -

I remember when it was not permitted to have a blue, green or grey or whichever colour on top of the windshield to reduce sun in our eyes because the film or tint was blocking the full view out of the window. Now we have rain sensors and I do not know whatever else it is that is blocking the view (according to the old rules at least) plus clunky cameras. I do not say it is a bad idea to be able to record what is happening or has happened, but if it is a good idea, why is such things not installed from factory? Not because of price as smartphones have tiny and rather good cameras in groups and surely a micro lens could be placed and have wiring included in the windshield like the antennas and the rest of the items that make driving more relaxed and comfortable. I do like the rain sensor that start the windshield wipers and the heating wiring that make sure the wipers will not get damaged freezing to the windshield. All these luxury items that make driving easier compared to the first cars many of us here on the forum had long time ago. Lexus is an old people’s brand. Sure, some of us may not like to be called old, but that is happening when living a long time. -
Here we have either 95 E5 or 98 without E-label on BP pumps. Shell has V-Power 98 also without the E-label plus the 95 octane. Have not looked if that is E-labeled. E10 I have not seen anywhere. There are at least 5 other brands of gasoline here, but only one refinery, so maybe ?????? Oh no- I have no idea of what I was going to write. Also 2 different prices for diesel.
