Many things are free. All the so called social sites like Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp are free is you will share all data on your phone with them. I have not one of these.

They still have the expertise and knowledge to make engines. They can start again without problems. New types of engines could possibly be made. Charging points and electricity production enough to fill all vehicles is a far bigger challenge than any politician has imagined. Do not believe that EV will ever be able to transport us all. Should we just start to walk again? Carry whatever we need home in bags? Or move all with the power of our minds?

I think EV is going to be a lost dream for the stupid politicians. Not charging point enough. No place to buy new batteries when they need to be replaced except from China, is that better than gas and oil from Russia?

In the manual the rear wheels can be moved to become front wheels, when only replacing new tyres, so it should not be a problem.

Seems that many Lexus workshops are trying their best to rob customers and try to throw us to another brand. The car is great, but their service is stupidly expensive. Asked for new tyres and was quoted about 50% more than tyre centres were offering for same tyres.

We just had a full service called 90K Km even though the car has only 80.1K Km on the clock. May keep Lexus doing service till we reach 100K Km. At least sure we will continue to pay to have hybrid battery warranted.

You just live in the wrong country. Only had that problem here once when a nail was in the rear left tyre and I would not have noticed it had the light not been on.

I have been riding mountain-bike for a very long time and Michelin bike tyres are absolutely worthless. Continental bike tyres are one of the best for very many types of riding, Maxxis are also great, for downhill I prefer Schwalbe. Have tried 3 different Michelin and they were in the low quality range. Michelin car tyres are similar price as Continental. B for fuel economy, A for wet braking and 69db noise cost the same for both brands.

Almost always used Continental. Never had problems with them. Next probably UltraContact. Cannot understand the hype about Michelin.

Our old car has no free updates so your question is not what I try to answer. I have an old Garmin Nüvi that in August got the 2023 update. Have of course no idea how good or bad the new navigation map from Lexus is, but the 2019 I paid a fortune to get after the 2017 that came with the car was not the least better with regard to one-way streets here where we live; exactly same as the 2017. Garmin has the correct one-way streets. Lexus software is a disaster. Tried to download and install some free updates from Lexus 2 - 3 years ago and it never did function. It came to my USB stick and started in the car, but after 3 hours it told that connection was lost (the USB stick lost connection?) and so was my patience. Do not remember what kind of update it was, but suppose it is not needed and have not tried since. Like Malcolm say downloading from Lexus is "a recipe for disaster". Not that we use the Garmin in the car, maps on smartphones are far easier to use and come with free updates very often so they are always correct.

Socialism is not the answer and neither is capitalism. The rich will always want to be richer and the poor have few ways to get out of poverty.
