  1. Do not know if this help:
  2. Seems there are more possibilities https://www.ct200hforum.com/threads/installed-my-curt-hitch-today.119805/
  3. https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hitch/Lexus/CT+200h/2012/C11200.html https://www.etrailer.com/faq-Hitch-Bike-Rack.aspx
  4. Lexus and Toyota here is same company. 3 and all owned by same company.
  5. Lexus in the islands here have no such service: https://www.lexus.co.uk/owners/servicing-and-maintenance/lexus-essential-care/
  6. We bought this for our baby. There is a cushion part (not shown here) to fix in it so baby is secured comfortably (I think), when she got big enough to sit without that the seat was comfortable (according to her) until recently when she now is so long legged that we have bought a booster seat from UK https://www.vergleich.org/kindersitz/cybex-pallas-2-fix/ https://heyner.co.uk/products/child-car-seats/isofix-child-car-booster-seat-capsula/ With Isofix. Would not use a seat for children without Isofix.
  7. The tyre I see on the picture does not have what I would call rim protection. Yes, if we never touch anything with the rims they would not get damaged. But rim protection would reduce damage. If the rims we have on the CT should be damaged, we would repair them and paint all 4 so they would not look different colour. Did that on a Smart Roadster Coupé. Looked a lot better than the original. Continental have a bit more rim protection.
  8. So much for Honest John. Are CrossClimate made in Germany Colin? I thought they were French.
  9. Learned a new word today: skulduggery. Thank you. Etymologists aren't sure exactly how the word arrived in English, but they do not believe it has anything to do with skulls. It is possibly derived from the now-very-rare "sculduddery," a term once used to refer to gross or lewd conduct, but unfortunately the origins of that word are also unknown. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/skulduggery https://www.dictionary.com/browse/skullduggery https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/skulduggery https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/skulduggery So the warning signals in our CT are close to being criminal?
  10. https://www.honestjohn.co.uk/askhj/answer/150449/which-tyres-offer-protection-from-kerbing- According to Honest John they do have that.
  11. In our CT200H it is making bing-bing (or something like that) when a car crosses into our lane close in front of us. Also, when going faster than the permitted speed on the road, and also when getting near a radar speed detecting device (warn so we can lower speed (maybe too late to avoid the ticket)).
  12. Any of you guys have experience with the company Heyner UK in 16, Monckton Road Industrial Estate, Wakefield? I ordered a booster seat online from them: https://heyner.co.uk/products/child-car-seats/isofix-child-car-booster-seat-capsula/ and according to tracking it was sent same day and it got to Hinckley Leicestershire same day where it stayed 5 days before being returned to the company. Heyner UK is not answering mails, but should be a company selling a lot of German quality car parts and very good windshield wipers. Do not know if I should claim money back from PayPal or wait patiently till somebody in the company got interested in answering mails.
  13. In Spain Lexus service does not call it Premier. Here they are Luxury. Wonder why.
  14. This is the Cross Climate: https://www.oponeo.es/neumatico/michelin-crossclimate-215-45-r17-91-w-xl all seasons and good even in winter. Here are 2 summer tyres: https://www.oponeo.es/neumatico/michelin-primacy-4-215-45-r17-91-v-xl-s1#326588902 https://www.oponeo.es/neumatico/goodyear-efficientgrip-performance-215-45-r17-91-w-xl-fp#329804968 The one from Michelin is supposedly giving better mileage, good braking in wet and even more quiet than the CrossClimate. GoodYear did not have a Good name where I come from, but it seems it also should be better in one way than the CrossClimate. Wonder if these numbers are valid information. If so both summer tyres are worth trying. If correct the GoodYear should have better mileage and same noise level and the Michelin summer tyre have better mileage and less noise. While living in Denmark I had wheels with summer- and wheels with winter-tyres and here on the island we have summer all year, so a summer tyre is all season here. Never heard of these data before and if valid they partly could explain why I have poor mileage. Thank you.
  15. We Pirelli P7 215/45/17. On the registration paper that is what is shown. 215/45/17 is correct.
  16. Correct. Have had snow here less than 15 days in 15 years. On top of the mountain above 1500m. Below 15 Celsius at night in winter is seldom. Still local people here tell me it is cold. When I came her I had short on all year and now I dress like the locals.
  17. How long did the Michelin last? Many reviews here tell that that rubber fall off the tyres starting when they are 10.000km old/young.
  18. What if important is not fuel consumption, but honesty. In business that is a nonexisting word as all car companies are not telling the truth about how much fuel or pollution their cars make. Why should Lexus be better than the others?
  19. Had 95 filled up in the car twice and now going back to 98. Price difference is close to not existing.
  20. Only you can answer that. What is firm for one is hard or too hard for others. What is comfortable for one is too soft for others.
  21. Our engine starts when on 2 bars and keep it there and going downhill it most of the time is on 7 or 8 bars. The car is not very economical in mountains as climbing it needs petrol and going down it soon gets to 7 or 8 and then braking is just heating the brakes. Still not sure when to use B.
  22. Info about wheels: https://www.wheel-size.com/size/lexus/ct/
  23. If the wheel is original Lexus it would be most likely. 2 types are used for cars: Conical and radial. Maybe you can find what you need here: https://www.wheel-size.com/size/lexus/ct/
  24. Your 300 probably has less road noice than our 200. I have an app in my phone so will try go see how much noise I have in the cabin on different road types, but on the good roads (not may of them here, no money to maintenance in Spain) I think noise level is good in the 200. Good enough to enjoy music while driving. I consider handling (including braking) as most needed for a tyre and if other things are good, they are bonus.
