  1. Shiny car. Looks black. Dog does not look blue or am I colour-blind? 😇 Could be the Pfizer jab I had.
  2. Satisfied with the CT? We are happy with the one we have. I do not hear any noise from the brake system when driving. Might be deaf, but they did not notice when renewing my driver's license. Is this a special way to speak when using break instead of brake? English is my third language, but I am pretty sure I learned stopping a car was the same as applying the brake. I am also sure that break was when something was breaking, being damaged or destroyed. Is it modern English? Just curious as I see it many places.
  3. Never trust a used cars salesman!
  4. Wow. Did not know the roads in UK were that bad. Only used to roads in northern parts of Africa and mainland Europe. In Spain they are not as good as most western European countries; in Africa I thought roads were worse than in UK. Looking forward to hearing what the protective film is described to be like from a member in this forum and not only how the film is praised in the adds.
  5. I would live with it a while, see if it much visible, and if not possible to live with: let a pro to fix it.
  6. The UV protection mentioned only is useful on side windows as windshield is UV-A and -B protected from factory. Changing it yearly reduces the funny part due to the cost of it. How much the warranty will be worth is something that will have to be proven. In the long time I have been driving in Africa and Europe (alphabetically mentioned) I have had to replace windshield only twice. Maybe just lucky?
  7. Hi, I am satisfied with the light inside the car so have no idea if these are better, but not very expensive so maybe worth trying? https://www.ebay.de/itm/292880198875?hash=item4431052cdb:g:gpwAAOSwAVhesqCu https://www.ebay.de/itm/270812907031?epid=2230344943&hash=item3f0db50617:g:W64AAOSwK6RZIkIy https://www.ebay.de/itm/161809808342?epid=1054065064&hash=item25ac9dbbd6:g:liwAAOSwMmBV4haa
  8. This is a car with the steering wheel in the right side? Even found a Lexus with steering wheel in the right side: many things to learn here in the forum. Have a nice week-end
  9. British humour. John Cleese as hotel manager, the poor guy from Barcelona and the extraordinary "Only fools and horses". Some know how and some try to learn.
  10. The steering wheel in the right side can be the wrong side and the steering wheel in the left side can be the wrong side, so how can the steering wheel in either side be in the correct side?
  11. Are there any such sensor in the CT200h 2016 with LED lamps? Should be think.
  12. That is an excellent idea.
  13. Welcome Arturo, you are in for a pleasant surprise. Even the small Lexus is as fine in most ways as a 350SE, so I suppose the 250 you get is so much of an upgrade in almost any way that you will wonder why you did not go to Lexus before. We did.
  14. 1950: Just learned to ride 2 wheel bike.
  15. I got same consumption with 95 and 98 so they probably are E10 and E5.
  16. Do you know how the octane numbers in E5 and E10 are?
  17. Welcome. It sure is an upgrade from a Polo. Best of luck. We love the one we have.
  18. Do not know what they put in gasoline. Here we have 95 octane and 98 octane. Between these 2 there is no difference in consumption and difference in price is also close to not really existing. Tried 95 a month and had 6.2L/100km. Use 98 and consumption is very different: 6.2L/100km. Maybe the bigger motor is different? Doubt it.
  19. It was a great story. Not all super-ingredients are junk.
  20. Honda make great cars that are reliable. Accord if you need sporty Accord R. Or maybe a Civic Type R. Something sent wrong with this picture: Does not look that much like a Lexus though.
  21. Sorry I did not make it clear that it of course is not the valve stem that is to take out, only the core insert.
  22. Same system as in the Smart Roadster Coupé 2003-04 we had and not really smart to inject latex through the TPMS sensor. He did not mention that. Still not his fault. Just did what he was supposed to do. So should we need to use sealant, first thing to do is to find out if the valve stem is removable and then empty the latex in a bottle and fill a latex-free sealant in the tyre, then put the valve stem back on and let the compressor do it's job. If you tell me there is not a removable valve stem insert (below is a standard valve stem insert that is easy to screw out so liquid can come into the tyre: in the Lexus without a special Lexus tool then it may not be possible unless it can be bought cheap. But why they use latex is so stupid it is hard to understand.
  23. Just thought about the thing a moment and found a very simple solution for both problems. First, there is no reason whatsoever for having the TPMS in the place where air (and whatever sealant is used) is injected into the tyre. Second, charging is not really more complicated than first: Making a charger that can use the change in rotational speed of the wheels to produce electricity. Both - very simple. Should not need a genius to figure that out. Why Lexus / Toyota or somebody else have not made that yet is the hard thing to understand.
