  1. Alignment was the only issue as I also got CF fenders too. Took 3 days of tinkering, but you have to expect that with CF panels. They're not an exact fit unless it's custom made to the car. There are 2 areas I plan to revist to get the fitment perfect, and I'll be doing that over winter. No sun fade issues yet, and CF front end fitted Feb '22. Only coating on the parts is a ceramic coat.
  2. The vented bonnet has been discontinued whilst they change their moulding. I have the standard CF bonnet from them, from a company in Luton. As stated they give you a total quote plush shipping and that's all you pay, no hidden taxes, etc. I thought I had their details saved, but it seems I can't find them. I'll post it when I find it.
  3. I've never found a definitive answer. The closest I could get was maybe down to the blindspot mirror being larger in whatever respective country the car was manufactured for. Which makes no sense because you could just make them all the same size to cut down on costs, as you already pointed out. It's an odd one.
  4. One side is smaller on the ISF. Not sure the exact specs and why, but I recall someone saying the ISF mirrors are different sizes, which would explain why LHD and RHD covers have issues.
  5. Take it easy Dan. I'll swoop in on some parts as previously discussed. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the other motor.
  6. I replaced my headers and the sound went, so did the emissions issue at MOT time. I have a video of the location that mine cracked at, which from watching countless videos on cracked headers, mine was the exact same flange. Did you run a data logging check on yours? I wonder if that would show a fuel issue if it is the pump that's going? Like a quick and easy way to deduce the cause? I can't believe that 'all' ISF headers will crack, but the numbers are quite high.
  7. Sam recently had his done by a specialist out Essex/Kent way I believe. I'll get him to revisit the site and add his costs, times, etc.
  8. Yes costs mount up quickly. It's not a cheap job. I managed to find a rare, new set of RHD PPE headers in California when I was there, for £1k, but after supporting mods and upgrades, I still spent over £2.5k, and I even installed them myself!
  9. I have heard rumours that the second CATs are sufficient at helping with emissions and the MOT, of which I can't confirm yet. Consider getting a flash tune because you will get a code on the O2 sensors (post CAT). To remove those you will either need high flow CATs or a tune. Consider the following: - New engine mounts - Front O2 sensors - You will need O2 Sensor extensions - New starter motor as you're there - Starter motor plugs as they become brittle - Heat tape to wrap around the extenders - New exhaust gaskets (manifold to exhaust) - You can reuse the OEM manifold gaskets as they're 4 layer metal. I did the swap on my drive last month. It's a lot of hassle but achievable. Any other questions please ask mate.
  10. I don't know of anyone fitting RCF manifolds to an ISF. Nothing in the States saying as such. Most people weld their OEM ones up, or go with PPE/Novel, etc. I cannot see it being an upgrade, purely as I don't think they'll fit and Lexus/Toyota are notorious for creating bottlenecks in their exhaust systems. So stock for stock and for the price, it would be a tough call to see if its worth it. At best I'd get on a Facebook page or two aimed at the ISF and ask. UK owners tend to be very conservative with their F's and due to the low numbers, most don't play around with them or have experience doing so. I reccomend asking people state side. I have a set of UK ISF OEM manifolds that are cracked but off the car. They're being welded up and I'll either sell them or keep as spares. If you want pics of where the cracking takes place I can send them over. I changed mine to PPE headers last month on my drive.
  11. There was talk of Lexus social media posting a lot of content linked to the ISF, and as such, a genuine thought there may well be an announcement on its way.
  12. Always looking for a connection in Japan for parts mate!
  13. Red interior is a nice touch. Looking forward to seeing more pics. Good luck with the freight process!
  14. Just the way they're captured dude. Mine were upside down (PPE emblem is on the under side). I have the Hayward and Scott system which is larger than OEM. My car is tuned by Loi, a similar set up to RR.
  15. Yes definitely. They were made a little stronger than the ISF's partly down to the weight of the newer models. They'll be great for the road and they've also been replaced which is great.
  16. In reference to clunks and bangs, I had an odd and intermittent knocking from the front left of my car which ended up being the strut (hence the coilover upgrade). They are noisey when they go and worth a look. Plus as with all things old, the vulnerable bits start to perish, so rubbers and ball joints are a good go to, notably the front lower ball joints. Cheap and easy to replace too.
  17. I was concerned about that and well worth taking note, but Asymmetric 5's wiped that fear out of the park very quickly. I couldn't get PS4S's in 18", but I'm not bothered now. It's just a case of shopping around and seeing what's on the market. There's always a suitable replacement.
  18. Thank you very much!! Amazing info!!
  19. No issues here on any of my panels.
  20. Hey dude. I'm on 275 35 18's. Square set up all round as the guys I know that do autocross in the States all rate the square set up which eliminates understeer. In fact, from vendors to those doing track days and autocross, I don't know of any on staggered set ups. I'm 9.5 wide all round and I'd say the 275's are a nice all-rounder. There might be better evidence out there that the stock sizes are better, but I'm yet to see it. I know I put the power down better with wider rears and the handling for our twistie B roads here in the UK is spot on, so I can only talk from what I have. I'm currently on BC coilovers which have been corner weighted and balanced. They're not my preferred option but due to availability and previous experience, plus my OEM shocks were on their way out, I needed a quick fix. I have to say they're performing well at the moment.
  21. Oh and in another odd twist, my ISF is Steviebee's old one!! He sold it to a gentleman in Aberdeenshire who didn't use it, and then I picked it up. It was standard bar the exhaust and steering wheel, when I bought it. The Lotus seats had been removed and the wheels he pictured above in this thread were not on the car.
  22. Whilst I have heard some wheels have clearance issues, I can tell you that's limited to a few designs. Here's my car on Wedsports SA25R'S and Enkei GTC01RR's (the side shot being the current set up and the Enkeis).
  23. Just out of curiosity why would you require custom forged 18's? Most track based ISF's and RCF's are on 18's and a variety of differing brands.
  24. Thank you very much 😊
  25. Well you say that, we should have been in the South of France and Monaco, but we had to change the plans because the trip needed to he shorter.
