    I guess you always gamble when buying a new car and the newer the brand/model the higher the risk. I would imagine Tesla are having the same issues all new brands have had. I would say that the simple fact I want to get an ISF next shows the impression Lexus has over other brands on me (plus the fact I am a huge V8 fan). My biggest frustration with Tesla is the support. Due to their lack of being established and the lack of support from your local town or village mechanic, Teslas support leaves a lot to be desired, although again this comes down to their infancy within the market.

    I have tried Tesla, we have two in the family and none of the issues mentioned in this post are present in either vehicle. I'm by no means a Tesla fan boy, my next purchase is another Lexus (ISF), but I also don't understand that 'slamming' of another brand just because someone on here likes the Tesla they own. I am speaking from unbiased experiences.

    Let us please not forget the Toyota brake and acceleration issues that claimed the lives of over 30 people and caused a combined recall of over 9 million vehicles worldwide. No manufacturer has a clean record for producing perfect cars. Lexus and Toyota may have fantastic records presently, but it hasn't always been that way.

    So standard gloss mercury grey can be worked on like any other grey? Only asking as I'm looking at a car with mercury grey as it's paint code! Thanks.

    Thank you so much for the reply. I forgot to turn on notifications! Is this the mercury grey ISF? It's a stunning looking car and my favourite at the moment. I want to go and view it after lockdown, although it looks in amazing enough condition in the images. Did you by any chance PX it for the white RCF they had? If so, that looked beautiful! Thanks.

    Hello all, I'm looking for an ISF, ideally 2010 and up. Mileage isn't a concern if the car is looked after and colour I'm not hung up on. I'm looking for a good, clean example. I've seen a couple on Autotrader. Does anyone know much about those vehicles? Are they ex forum members? Thank you.

    Hello all, My name is Richard and I have been a Lexus owner for over 10 years now. I had a GS300 for half that time and a GS430 for the other half (both MK2's). Although I love the GS platform I am now in the market to buy an ISF as the 'weekend toy'. I come from a predominantly modified background so my current GS is on air ride and has had a lot of changes and additions. With that being said, I now want a car that I can hop into and is less hassle and the ISF seems like the perfect upgrade. Any how, I'm off to browse the forum. Thank you. Rich
