I had my first jab three days ago through work and it wiped me out for 24 hours. It was horrific! I have the antibodies in my blood so I believe I have already been exposed to the virus, so I was told to expect a beating with the side effects.....they were right!

Usual Honda issue is rust, under the airfilter, rear arches, around the boot and seals. I was a Honda nut before moving onto Lexus and they're fantastic cars. I've always liked this shape Accord, although at the time they never sported the engines I wanted (B16, B18 or H22). We have a lot this shape around town as we have a few American air bases locally and this was the most popular shape Accord Stateside so they'd be imported all the time. Good luck with the purchase.

Any news on this gents? I have the dreaded manifold tick on start up which I'm going to check out tomorrow. I'm hoping it's from the exhaust and not the manifolds! Otherwise it's PPE time. Thanks.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I'll look into them. The main reason I asked is because we previously had a 1 series with bucket style rear seats and trying to find a good seat that stayed upright was a nightmare. Thanks for the ideas. I didn't think of protecting the rear of the front seats!

Update, I have found some 'similar' posts but nothing specific about which seat works best or which isofix base doesn't damage the seats (if I go down that route). So still looking. Sadly we don't have a baby shop anywhere near us that can test seats and bases (frustrating). Thank you.

Hello all, Before I start I will say I have searched the forum but either unable to carry out the right search or there's nothing here for my specific question, so here goes.... I am looking for car seat options for my 19 month old son. He is now in front facing seats and I am looking for options for the rear of my ISF. I am in this section of the forum because I think there's not a huge difference in interior and I'm sure there's more 'footfall' here so my question may get answered quicker. I don't want to, if I can, damage or dent the rear seats so I'm thinking a belted in seat rather than isofix. Apologies if this has been posted before but for the life of my I couldn't get many search results. Thank you.

How much for CE28SL in 18's please? (ISF PCD and CB, widths around 9 front and 9.5 rear with offsets in the 40's?) Thank you.

Granted I haven't tried them on an ISF, but I was quite the advocate of Hankooks Ventus 2's on my old V8 RWD. They were good tyres for the price and what I would class as midrange. Hope that helps.

Will this work on the ISF? The years match mine, but I didn't know if the F had a different set up to a standard IS. I'm still in the early days of getting to know this model and the potential changes.

Ahhh yeah I see. I'm about 60 miles north in what is probably seen as a sleepier part of the UK! In fact for me the F turned out to be cheaper than my GS430, which when I was starting to look at quotes for an F, shocked and surprised me. Being in my late 30's will help and my profession too. There's lots of factors too such as a locked garage for storage, low miles threshold as the car is for fun mainly. I will never understand insurance though. I'm sure they make it up on the spot lol!

Lovely car. I did look at these along with M4's, C63's and then ended up with an ISF (wanted that Lexus reliability). I'm glad it's everything you wanted it to be. I've seen mixed reviews, but that's usually from the German biased crowd. Enjoy your new motor.

Tax and insurance for me is £940 a year on an ISF. Man no wonder you're not keen if you have another £1K added on top! That's crazy!

Which is why you don't have one. I do the grand total of 2 to 3k a year miles wise (all fun). I'll happily spend £1k a year taxing and insuring my car as the fun of driving them supersedes the cost. Personally, the joy of taking out a car I love would be the same high that someone gets spending £250 a weekend on going out clubbing and drinking. My hobby, taking into account my earnings, is a tiny drop in the ocean. Everything is relative I suppose. *edit* I also agree with the 'pay per mile' as that would make our cars in the household, even cheaper to run as has already been said, my partner has become more 'work at home' based and pay per mile would really suit her.

Ceramic coating (the proper stuff), is an amazing product and worth the cost. If you're like me and anal about paint and the condition of the car, ceramics a great way to protect you from tree sap, bird lime, poor washing techniques and generic issues related to making cleaning a car a laborious job. I detail my car and others (not my main profession) and ceramic coatings are just fantastic when it comes to cleaning. Makes the job a dream.

No idea, but great idea keeping the thread going. I am just about to order the rad from LPD. What else did you buy in prep for the rad change?

I guess like all things it's down to preference. Personally the GSF styling does nothing for me. The only advantage would be the 5th seat, but there are plenty of other 5 seaters I'd choose first (other marks included). I think the RCF is nice but doesn't suit my lifestyle and again, the big grill front end is a bit 50 50 for me. The ISF in its current form does it for me, style and shape wise. It might not be the best out of the block with its performance, but no car stays standard for me, so that's never been an issue. It also fits around my lifestyle and works better in the garage than it's bigger cousin the GS. All-in-all, they're all fantastic cars and with the ultimate selling point, reliability!!

Thanks. I have no preference in terms of length manifold. Whatever yields the best performance will do me.
