  1. Lovely car. I looked into these but ended up staying in a Lexus. Enjoy!
  2. Weight reduction is a must for Lexus, but that may compromise refinement.
  3. Yes the sun was an unexpected treat although I now have sunglasses lines 🤣 Massive show, we didn't cover all of it, there was just too much to see. Nice to finally put some faces to Internet names, but didn't meet so many people I wanted to! A Lexus meet, maybe a nice pub for some food and a good garden would be good.
  4. Great little cars and a practical run around. If they have the reliability of the first Jazz they're fantastic.
  5. Thank you. I'm not too fussed, as the ISF in general is rare, but more for curiosity. Such a capable and fun car yet it only ever saw such low numbers. Crazy really but I get the general addiction to German sport sedans at the time. I'm just glad I have my hands on one!
  6. With the exception of 'how many are left', which shows production numbers for years. Is there a way to find production numbers of a certain year and colour? Thanks
  7. It's internally where the transmission oil pipes meet the radiator. It cannot be seen (even by Lexus) so best practice is to treat it as a maintainence job and replace when you feel appropriate. If there's no evidence of it being done, get it done. I changed mine last year. It's a really easy job to do yourself. I went on the 10 year 100k rule with both the Lexus vehicles I've changed it on.
  8. Certainly do 🙏🏼
  9. Anyone travelling from the Cambs/Suffolk/Norfolk area?
  10. My wheel is alacantara but looks noting like that. The blue bottom is leather and not faded at all. That looks very cheap.
  11. Replied Ethan. Apologies I've only just seen it.
  12. Hi guys. Are you still offering the free delivery for Gold Members as the one in the member section did not work today? Please PM me a reply. Thanks.
  13. How is the tankless system? Do you rate it? Also, does BigRat update the status of the F cars that pass through the forum?
  14. I imagine they're just as hard to find as PPE headers lol. I'll look into them as a potential option. Thanks
  15. What's the difference between GSF and PPE? Is it a known comparison on the ISF? I did not think about GSF manifolds when considering an upgrade.
  16. I have this function on my ISF but only through the indicators (not a Lexus function). I bought a new relay for the indicators to eliminate hyper flash on LED bulbs and to enable one tap indicating. The smart tap relay also has a 'follow me home' setting on the indicators, which comes in handy. Not sure if that would be a workaround for you?
  17. Hello all, As in title please, in as good condition as possible. I know it's a long shot. Thanks
  18. Oh wow! I have a real soft spot for those and I'm not a huge Audi fan!! They look incredible!
  19. Hi Ethan, Yes I don't mind showing you sometime. In regards to mapping you would get the best out of it but it's not a hurdle I've tried jumping yet. RR Racing do a tune that works alongside PPE headers and hopefully anyone with one can chime in.... There are aftermarket radiators but it's not a horrendous job to do yourself and Lexus supply everything you need for under £300. I did mine myself using OEM parts. As for prices, as you say they are inflated due to the second hand market. Early last year I paid £20k for a well looked after 2010 USB ISF with 54K on the clock, which now on estimate with current prices is closer to £25k'ish. I'm not sure when they'll correct but I'd imagine they will do when the rest of the market corrects.
  20. Hi, There is a thread a couple of posts down you should look at 'Considering buying an ISF'. Lots of information on there. Rust wise the IS holds up well and there are no horror stories. I've had all the plastics removed from under mine and the car treated for rust and sealed up. It was very tidy underneath with most of the rust assigned to the arms, etc, and not the chassis, but it was still very clean. The water pump should not be a problem now and all cars should have been addressed by now. Look for 'ticking' on cold start as the biggest costly issue that appears most places are the manifolds. They leak after a while due to cracking. On the plus side upgrading the headers is a good thing whilst you're there. Some people keep driving with them cracked as you can do with no problems, so it's not an immediate repair. Other than that check the radiator over and prepare to replace. The gearbox coolant runs through the rad and when it corrods from the inside, it's terminal for the gearbox. This is a design throughout most Lexus models, and isn't a common issue, but worth noting. Modifications wise, there are a lot of suspension upgrades and coilover options. Depending on what you want to modify, be prepared to shop overseas if you want to push the boat out. I'd imagine similar to options for the Monaro, the ISF doesn't have a massive amount of support UK wise.
  21. Never heard of this before either. My insurance is cheap too, which doesn't reflect the 'stolen for parts' statement. Definitely an odd one. Only 170 odd ISFs on the road in the UK and the number hasn't changed a great deal since I started looking last year.
  22. I'm glad you asked this as I just ordered the same camera today and I was asking the question of where to wire it into! Will follow the thread closely.
  23. New OEM ballasts acquired. Please delete. Thanks.
  24. Hello all, Looking for some D4S ballasts. I need the connectors for the bulbs, so the ballasts themselves can be broken. If you have working ballasts for an ISF I'll take them instead. Thanks. Rich
