  1. I might be missing something. But, why does it need to be model specific? Also, just use WAZE that shows charging points and has done for over a year now.
  2. I get about the same 32MPG in winter. Considering it's an SUV that weighs almost 2 tonnes with the AC on 25c, heated seat on, heated steering wheel on, heated rear screen on, heated mirrors on headlights on for every early morning commute I think the MPG is pretty good. My 3 previous cars did 26-28 at best.
  3. Hyundai make great cars, as Lexus once did. I feel the new NX was rushed to meet demand and the usual testing and quality control were dropped to speed up production. That and lacking a small car binning the IS then th CT to concentrate on luxo-barges and SUV's will be a mistake in the long run. I bought the face lifted NX in 2020 premium plus and almost three years of ownership from new the only work I've needed was a replacement tyre.
  4. Not sure there will be a problem. My dad left his CT200h (2018) in the garage for 6 weeks when he was in hospital. neither of us thought about a flat battery (other more important issues with his health on our minds). he was home for another 2 weeks before venturing out to the shops. The good ol' Lexus started up first time!
  5. Ah, yes! MS took brother and sister Messenger and Skype, arranged a marriage between them and they had a child. The deformed abomination was christened TEAMS
  6. I missed a bit in my first sentence. The Apple products work very well together, as long as you are willing to live in the Apple walled garden. Try anything outside their "box" and yes I agree it's very frustrating. Where I work we have a mix of Apple and Lenovo (WIN) products, for us they are a much of a muchness in comparison.
  7. Couldn't find anything to achieve the split screen in my UK car. Possibly different software depending on country?
  8. That's pretty cool, how did you do that.
  9. Not really, their laptops and phones / Apple CarPlay hold their own and sync seamlessly. But, I agree their marketing is the best in the business, similar model to BMW. To market a mass produced consumer item as prestigious to the heights of exclusive, then to get millions of people to believe it in a hive mind is truly genius.
  10. Funny you should mention the trackpad. I prefer it to a touch screen. No more stretching to reach the screen (as in my old EVO-X) and no more fingerprints which need to be cleaned off after every journey!
  11. Ban him, burn him with fire! Using such a word as "synergy"
  12. Thought as much, worth the ask though, thanks
  13. Or simply being capable of controlling my throttle to maintain the car at the speed limit.
  14. I wish you could turn the beep off in my 2018 CT! I work in Nottingham, which has one of the highest "safety" camera populations in the country per mile. It's like being at a really bad rave!
  15. Nothing really to add here but, they are a great little run around. Very low getting in and out though compared to my NX, not as young as I used to be. And, the foot/hand brake takes a little getting used to. Just a couple of questions however. 1. Any way of turning off the safety camera beep? 2. It has the older rotary screen/nav system. Is split screen radio/map possible?
  16. I don't have that problem on my CT or NX. However, my old Evo-X used to do that all the time if the weather looked like it might cloud over, never mind actually frosty cold.
  17. Not helpful I know but, no squeaks here on my NX300h 2020 or my CT200h 2018.
  18. Shh, I wanted a new garage door, and that's excuse I used to get it. the 710 didn't suss it out.
  19. How tall are you? I ask as I have the same situation. Will it fit in the garage. I'm 5'10" and can walk into my garage with a couple of inches clearance from the garage door above my head. The NX is not as tall as me and I can see over the roof rails, so knew it would fit where my EVO-X used to be. As to length, remember that the NX has a fairly square back, depending on your garage door it may not clear the roof line when closing it. I had a tilt up and retractable door originally which only cleared the roof line by an inch and a half. So, I was very weary as it wobbles it could potentially catch the car if I wasn't paying attention. Changed the door for a sectional up and over door. My thought was spending £2k on a door was worth it so it wouldn't potentially catch a £47k car resulting in a repair bill.
  20. Don't need to complain, my NX is a 2020, back when USB-A was standard and USB-C was still breaking through. We are now 3 years on, and Lexus are behind the times again. It was the same with wireless ACP or AA. Great cars though and I'm not changing mine until the wheels fall off. 😀
  21. Well, that's stupid! The USB-C should be both data and power, it is the standard USB now and have been for a while. USB-A will be phased out.
  22. What? with a net worth of around £730 million. Pah, he's a pauper in comparison, all my house staff are better cared for then that!
  23. Same for me. I used to drive SAAB 9000's with their wrap up and over doors. Wash, wipe whole car, door frames and door jams. I consider, everything before the rubber seals is outside the vehicle and needs washing/waxing. Anything after is inside the vehicle and needs valeting. Simple really, I don't understand the problem. Also, as a Luxury Lexus owner I just have my man take care of that sort of physical work. I don't even know what petroleum product goes into the car or where. And as for this hydroid elastic-trickery that's pure magic!
  24. I think many people will be doing the same, if Lexus don't sort out their deliveries and comms. IMO Lexus as a brand expanded too quickly with a limited range, a couple of saloons, a couple of sports cars, everything else is SUV / Crossover vehicles, and no small car. My dad has driven Lexus cars (IS then CT) for over 20 years, but now has to look elsewhere, due to lack of a small model in the range, sadly.
