it's the difference between 4:3 display and widescreen.
As it seems to be 1080 or near enough, the high res is perfectly useable. If you're finding it too small, I'd seriously think about not driving
Quick update.
Changed filter for K&N.
Feels nippier, although that could be in my head.
Fuel consumption is about the same / slightly better
Now I have the car covered in the super sexy chav K&N POWER etc. etc. stickers
I feel like such a big man on my estate, even though I'm 4'6" and have a....... the size of a peanut
Admiral.
After regaining my license and buying a brand new NX last year, many insurance companies wouldn't touch me as I'd had my new licence 3 weeks.
Lexus said yes, but for £11K!!!!
Admiral gave better conditions, lower excess and only asked for £800
Carwow
Ordered a new NX300h last year, specced up was circa £43K, local dealer, carwow-ed him, 3 weeks later I drove away with the exact car I wanted for £6K below list.
That was "cash" BT payment.
I had a terrible rattle inside the car from new, under heavy base and over speed bumps.
looked everywhere, eventually found it was the steel rear number plate, 4 rubber pads later problem solved.
Might be a change in alarm system, that it's not zoned the way it used to be.
Then again I'm not sure it's possible with a 5 door tailgate Vs. 4 door booted car
Are there any benefits, or pitfalls to changing the OEM air filter for a K&N?
always had them on previous cars, but when I asked for advice from the dealer about doing it to my NX, I was told it’ll mess up the engine mapping and invalidate the warranty.
personally I think they are talking nonsense.
opinions?
Doesn’t work, tried removing and reinstalling iPhone, it’s something in the iPhone iOS update that buggered it up, about 3 versions ago, not the car software, password needed every time.
Yep, happened to an EVO-X I had, basically due to location, vibrations, changes in temp and weather the aluminium heat shield wears through eventually.
Mitsubishi fixed mine for free, yep, with bigger, thicker steel washers.
The OEM Yokohama tires are great in the snow, going up hill, down hill, yet managed to skid the car on the flat turning a corner into my road! Go figure.
In all intents and purposes, if the ICE is off, therefore not providing power, and it’s running purely on battery, that is EV mode.
Even the little green light agrees and states the car is running EV mode
As to the pedantry of EV mode / in operation, is simply semantics
It is a bit of a faff.
When collecting my 2020 NX the dealer sorted it for me, both in the car and on the app. It took them a good 15-20 mins to get it to finally go through and register.
WOW, your dealer is a rip off.
mine wanted only £30. But, as the NX was in for its complimentary winter check, I asked if they could fit them at the same time. They said yes, as as they had the car already they did it for free.
