  1. I refer you to my previous post "Nanny state! etc. blah." I'll be sticking with the older cars then. Things were much better then, no lane assist, no lines blurred. When men were men, and women were men!
  2. That's exactly what I'm looking into. I'm not sure though if my laziness is worth £350+ ???
  3. That's true, but it's all eggs in one basket. Also know that the new Honda HR-V has keyless via a phone app. Imagine that! Lose your phone, there go your communications, money, and transport. A really efficient way to screw up your day!
  4. That seems a step backwards. On the previous model LDA was deselected as standard. If you wanted to use it you just pressed the button on the steering wheel. And when it was off, it stayed off. Nanny state! etc. blah.
  5. Not an issue really. Car kept in one of the garages over night. If it's a frosty morning I just send one of my many plebs out into the cold. Being Lexus owners, drivers of such prestigious motor vehicles and generally all round discerning folk, that we all would have plebs for the mundane duties of the day. Don't tell me that they now allow the common folk to buy into our brand?
  6. £350+ for a key card ????????? WOW!! Think I'll leave it, thanks for all the replies
  7. Hi All, I know the new 2022 NX Takumi (UK) comes with a credit card style fob as well as 2 standard keyless fobs. My question is, can you get one(CC fob) for the previous gen NX 2018 - 2021 (UK)? If so, where from? And, how do you get it programmed? I'd prefer the idea of having it in my wallet, rather than having to carry a separate fob. I know, I know, first world problems!
  8. Nah mate, you need dubs on a ride like that.
  9. That's why I use Waze. The built in maps it does work for fixed "safety" camera units, but not mobile.
  10. I know. They're not a bad little run about either 🙂
  11. It is a Premium Plus with mercury grey metallic. Came to £41265.
  12. As was mine, but still never got charged the "you've done well, I'll have a piece of that" tax
  13. I was told that due to the retail on my NX (2020 when new) I've never been charged the extra, only paid £155 this year
  14. I agree, too much plastic on the dash rather than leather, piano black scratches easily and is a fingerprint magnet, as is the etch-a-sketch infotainment screen. The steering wheel is a rebadged Toyota one, rather than having its own. Prefer the tucked away in the centre armrest wireless charger, USB and accessory socket. The knurled physical switches, and the classic analogue clock.
  15. Really? A 2.5 litre ICE, and almost 2 tonnes, 42mpg is reasonable.
  16. Yes under warranty, also just fresh from a service last month. The drip was present then too, car got full bill of health
  17. Possible I guess, can't see anything though. And it's only started happening over the last few months that I have noticed.
  18. Nope dry as a bone. The liquid seems to accumulate around the back box seam, then drip. The hard part is that there is no evidence (that I can see) of anything dripping on to the back box from above.
  19. 2020 NX (phase 1) premium plus I keep getting a small puddle or water / fluid coming off the back box near the rear right tyre (looking at the car from the back) It's been serviced and has a full bill for good health. I'm guessing condensation from somewhere, but everything else seems dry in that area. Anyone else have this occurrence? Or does anyone have any idea what the cause is?
  20. Ahh I see initially missed the comment that it is internal damage. I that should have been a dealer fix, if not possible then a rejection by the dealer,
  21. You should have waited for the car to be fully detailed by the dealer before impatiently snatching it from their hands without allowing them to inspect the car. The final checks by the dealer are part of quality control post transportation.
  22. Not a new car, but my father's CT200 (2018), I've just renewed his Lexus Assist (AA) over the phone. The lady that took the payment said, the new paperwork takes up to 28 days to come in the post. And, To hang on to the old card for the emergency numbers etc. as they no longer issue new cards. Could be the same for new cars / members possibly?
  23. I used Carwow when buying minme a couple years ago. Walked into the local dealer, showed them the best price Carwow Lexus dealers nationally had to offer. Without too much hassle walked away with £8k discount. At the time the phase-2 was two years away, and sales were up for Lexus, but still got a great deal.
