I read on another forum that car thieves when they steal a vehicle they know a lot of models now have built in GPS. Enables owners to keep a track of their vehicle. Or so they thought apparently the GPS is found in the roof in the panel where the switches are for the sunroof, emergency call and passenger /driver overhead lights. First thing the thieves do is rip this out so the car cant be traced by this system. Obviously it wouldn't work if another system tracker had been fitted. This was first time i had heard of this so i thought might be worth sharing.
