  2. Never had the light come on however when ive looked at the reading on the TPMS on start up ive noticed one wheel may be giving a different reading. Then when looking again they all read the same. Temparature differentials will come into play.

  4. I had to ring them a few times actually there were a few issues. When i got to the stage to download to the head unit that took around an hour . Like i say all done via my home hub and wifi.
  5. Thanks for posting this phil@pobrown very interesting read and indeed the interchange with peter@habu. I didn't know the Maps were upgraded separate and the multimedia device had its own upgrades. I took delivery of my UX in September 20 (it was built in Feb/march 20) i have Lexus premium navigation and the device is called 17CY as opposed to Phil's MM17 I'm wondering if this is different because its a NX. I had all sorts of problems getting the car connected both at the dealer and via the folks at Lexus connectivity who i found very helpful. Remember having an update reminder show on the head unit i thought wow its just out of the showroom. I did it via my house Wi-Fi straight to it and low and behold it was same as what was already there. I actually updated the map 2 weeks ago. but interesting read and well done for the post. Enjoying the vehicle very much.

  8. Barry look at page 2 of the UX forum you will see Sat Nav and PDF manuals youll get some info there that will help. You have to connect the car. My advise would be ring the folks at Lexus connectivity they are very helpful and will get you sorted the Tel No is 01737 367026. I did mine via the wifi direct to car took about an hour. The folks at lexus connectivity will sort you out. Good luck.
  9. Sorry to hear this Damien hope you are ok now and recovering. I know when i had my heart attack and bypass op i was told not to drive for 6 weeks after. I believe some things are notifiable to your insurers look at your policy it may state various conditions they need to be notified on. Out of interest who rung you to say you couldnt drive. This might not be much help but another club member may come along and post a definite answer.

  11. Absolutely Vlad there may be something on the MID that is erroneous about you. Ultimately when insurers access the MID about you it may affect your costing. The MID is accessed by the Police, DVLA and others.

  13. Morning folks hope your all ok. Yes it always generates discussion does motor insurance especially at renewal time. Religiously I have always at renewal time carried out a comparison check on the various websites mentioned on here. Worth remembering that not all underwriters are available on the comparison sites. So always worth allowing a bit of time checking those as well. Reading the posts here interesting that declaring different things have adjusted policy,s. Your details are kept on the MID (motor insurance database) administered i believe by the MIB (motor insurance bureau). it might be worth you having a look what is held about you on the MID. You might not agree you may want to have something corrected. You can make a request to have the info what is held about you. Here is a link to the MIB if i can put it on. Stat safe. Welcome to MIB
