    Battery development will change rapidly . I had an interesting discussion at my dealer. The size will reduce considerably thus making vehicle lighter. In fact they will become that small you wouldn't imagine it as of today. The charging time will be reduced considerably. Linas made a good point how far will a minute charge get you. Thus reducing worry time to enable journey and not waiting for a charger. I still think Hydrogen fuel cell is the way. Colin pointed out on another thread Toyota have this tech. Interesting thread.

    Thanks for update Rayaans yeah interested you use waze i haven't. Usually I run with Google on Android auto its v good. I hear waze is good around London that i wouldn't know.

    Few reports on Neff good and bad. I bought a massive Neff top of the range double oven about 17 years in our last house cost a fortune it did everything i asked. Changed bulb once. Put a Neff single oven and gas hob in this house. The oven packed in out of warranty so got shut. The hob every now and again an ignition spark sounds no idea why. I dont think i will purchase a Neff again.

    Our 1st washing machine was a Zanussi had it 10 years. When it packed in bought another had it about 3 years and it caught fire. Remember it well it was a Sunday lunchtime lucky we were in. Wife said smoke coming from worktop. It was well alight actually. Quickly disconnected and threw it out back door well alight, that's worst appliance experience I've had.

    Hi Steve This has been a problem manufacturers have battled with for years not so much now with the advent of LED lights which give off very little heat if any at all. In your case i think Malc has the answer. What i will add is can you see a vent anywhere is it blocked. Good luck.

    You make a good point John. Battery capacity and size will change significantly no doubt about that. The charging time will also reduce significantly. Saying that i dont think it will get down to the time it takes to fill up. Thread above mentions BP changing all their stations and the fact they make more from sale of various goods than fuel. Shop while you wait ?. Supermarket in our town were suprised at the weekly profit take from putting a couple of racks of clothes in.
