I didnt take a service plan out opted to pay on day. Anyway on arrival met by friendly lady on reception who in turn got service assistant to see me gave him my key telling him i will wait while car is done. Lady asked would i like a coffee. Got the drink and sat down to be continually asked if i was ok and would i like another drink biscuit etc. Had a chat with the manager who always is around. Service manager came when car was done had a good chat. Got to say all good at Lexus Hull very friendly staff each and every one of them thank you. Ooooh no issues with the UX.

I recently had the same problem with my UX. It was a moth. Sleep by day fly by night. I dont know ifyour IS has the same internal alarm sensors as the UX but there is a switch to turn them off if required.

It,s quite a big problem in this your not alone. If not removed will cause serious damage to hoses cables etc. Vehicles made abroad and stored for a long time before shipping can unknowingly have them. In the UK any time from now until winter December roughly they will look to move indoors if they can. A car parked in a garage nice warm engine etc. What you need to do is put whatever traps you prefer on the floor, those mat things are quite good. You could bait a trap with what you think is best . Be vigilant especially if putting car in a garage in a rural area, lift the bonnet regulary to check. They will nibble bite into cable, hoses sometimes unseen. Repairs can run into a lot of money. Ian i was in the dealers yesterday getting mine serviced. There were only 2 cars in the showroom an RX and the UX300e. There was an empty space for another vehicle i think that's were the new NX will stand. I went and had a look at the 300e its not dissimilar in style etc to my 250h . One thing i noticed was the boot floor appeared lower giving more capacity. Internally the gear lever i dont think its called that on an EV is it was smaller this one had the cream leather seats. I spoke with the manager about various things EV things are changing fast. I think its a good car but very expensive in my opinion and also the mileage you get on a charge is not great. I have just come back from Cornwall i wouldn't dare attempt the journey in an EV but i know a few do.

Evening folks hopeyour all ok. Update as to where i am at the moment. My lad bought me a lance unfortunately it doesnt fit the Spear & Jackson pressure washer. I seethat there are a myriad of snow foam lance adapters on the market not come across one yet specifically for a S&J washer. Have ordered of ebay for an adapter hopefully here next week or so. The daughter has bought me some Bilt hamber on your reccomendations all ready to go when i can get the lance to fit and work. More complicated than you would think.

Just got back from our 2nd trip to Cornwall. Distance covered 800 miles over motorways, A roads, B roads urban and those horrendous narrow Cornish lanes. The UX again never missed a beat a lovely smashing comfortable ride. The onboard info is telling me 51mpg now i dont think thats bad. It was good to see on the A30 the EV kick in on those downhill sections. This E10 petrol doesnt seem to be any different MPG wise maybe even better or is that the warmer weather. While there i noticed a few Lexus mainly the RX but there was an IS next door for 3 days. In for its 1st service tommorrow doesnt time fly.
