  1. Put it down as wear and tear. I've noticed the bolster on the door side of the drivers seat looks a bit used. I bought some leather cleaner treatment 6 months after buying car with good intention to use it. I haven't yet but keep meaning to. Like @rayaans says give it a bit of care. Mine is 2 years old in Sept currently 10500 miles on the clock. Great car.
  2. Yes your correct Peter those are the rules and they applied them. Makes you think about last years final race where Lewis was pipped.
  3. It was a really good race especially when the safety car came in. Got to say though i feel for George Russell he only had a puncture and the rules wouldn't allow him to rejoin the race.
  4. Hi Andrew and welcome. You wont be disappointed a nice car smashing pics looks like you got Mercury grey i believe this is been discontinued in the latest model. Mine is Mercury Grey and i love it. Your doing all the right things i also drive in eco and watch the gauge. Happy motoring.
  5. Agree Malc they are all at it. My mate regularly goes to Spain stays at a relatives says you get 20% off every litre of fuel you buy.
  6. Bellisimo
  7. Hi All On the way back from our annual pilgrimage to Cornwall on the way home I paid the most I have ever paid for petrol. $2.05.9p a litre. Gloucester services on the M5 Nth bound. I've put a dollar symbol up because i cant find a pound symbol on this laptop. Interestingly the actual service building is not 24 hrs only the petrol station.
  8. In a couple of hours we will be setting off on our annual pilgrimage to Cornwall. Done all the usual checks levels tires etc. Got to say the oil looks like new hardly any discoloration at all, its not used any as well. I've read a few on here say the same.

  9. I think Thatcham mentioned key security on UX
  10. Well I tried to get in the car with the key in the faraday pouch. Car opened as it should with key not in the pouch. Again thanks to Len for pointing this out. Thinking now about switching fob off on a night I don't think its a big inconvenience reading posts above.
  11. I agree Renato watched northside many times and Melissa they also do one called tech tip Tuesday
  12. We have our spare key in a faraday upstairs in a metal box Barry. But I feel a bit embarrassed you can turn the key off oh well another job for tomorrow.
  13. Interesting post Herbie also I've never heard of the register before.
  14. Well blow me down Len. This is something I had never even thought off. My faraday looks as good as the day I received it from Lexus when I bought the car in fact it looks in mint condition. I didn't realize they degenerated with time. I will check it out tomorrow thanks for posting. Herbie has a good alternative with the steering lock and silver foil.
