Ive a Hayter petrol had it a few years great mower. However it is a bit heavy. Now my mate is an expert grassman, he used to do a lot of his nieghbours he used to have a petrol mower but changed to battery a few years ago Bosch the batteries are expensive but my mate says they are very good and there lighter you can pick up on one hand. Happy mowing.

I had legal cover when a vehicle i owned was smashed into while parked. It was very badly damaged the individual driving the other car was under the influence of drugs etc. A long story cut short i instructed my insurer to invoke the legal protection. They did but informed me after a few months they were unsuccesful because the culprit was classed as a man of straw. So in this case there was no protection.

Well i finally did it. Ive gone for the Hankooks few of us on here have discussed them some have even had them fitted. Just got two and put them on the rears. Ill be ready for fronts come late spring i reckon. So im not going to say they are any quieter than the Bridgestones i dont know if ill notice 4 or 5 decibel difference. They look the business im happy with the purchase i paid £171 a tyre. Current mileage 24k.

Steve look at my earlier post on a thread. I posted about the struts for rear hatch creaking really bad on my UX . I presented the issue at lexus Leeds when in for a service and there was no noise or creaking so they couldnt do anything. Thanks for this post looks like there may be an issue.

Evening Malcolm i see your UX is same year as mine. Ive done a bit of research on this and when i change which like you will be soon i identified the Hankook you mention; were they 67db if my memory serves me. I think thats what i will go for in all honesty i dont think i would notice diffence on sound as opposed to Bridgestone though club members on here say different. Happy driving.

Evening Charles i agree with what you mention about short journeys cold engine low mpg but i also find it interesting what you say about EV and your trips to Cornwall. Likewise we go next week for what its worth ive been doing it for years 2stops now one at strensham and then Taunton dene and a quickie to phillip warren butchers at launceston for thier fantastic honey roast sausages. I wouldnt do it with an EV with the charging time as you mention.

Ive posted previosly somewhere. I have had 2 punctures repaired on my runflats on 2 different tires. I wouldnt run any other tire. The big decision i have to make is what to replace the Bridgestones the car came with. Run flats are expensive. I would have Bridgestones again but im interested to see how others are. At the moment im going with Hankook think there called S1 Evo 3. Others on here have changed and like them. What should i be paying folks ?

Ive had landscaper in new double step instead of one at the front door. Relaid new patio and paths with indian slab. Levelled and reseeded back lawn. Painted front of house. Just to name a few.

Srishail this has happened to me just like you. Looks like its happened to quite a few others as well. I posted about mine. Anyway it will most likely be a little critter moving about. To stop the alarm going off you can turn the internal sensor off this will give the neighbors a good nights sleep leave it like that for a couple nights or a week until the critter has removed itself or you have found it. Never heard of the 12v battery causing it to go off thats a new one on me. Seems to be a few issues around 12v batterys. Goodluck.

Thanks for posting ian. This is the type of tire i am going to get. Looking at all the other RF options they seem to be quiet on the db,s. A place ive had a couple of punctures repaired the fitter doesn't put any other tire on his own cars. So its reassuring you post you are happy with them.

Aye something i spotted on the Blink they state the camera batteries will last for 2 years lithium i believe. However i reckon that will be determined by the sensitivity that has been set.

Thanks Don yes I looked and you can purchase a 4cam system that comes with a hub i think the micro usb goes into the hub thus avoiding the subscription charge. I know a couple of people on our street who have this but they pay for the subscription 80 quid for year I think. The only down side i see is the hub needs to be plugged into the mains so there is an electricity usage there wonder how much for year that will cost to run i have recently had my broadband updated to fibre and that has to be powered and I'm supposed to be trying to reduce my electricity usage. Also the cameras require batteries but i like the idea of wireless.

I have a doorbell but the activation camera is slow. Len i have the Blink system on my radar thinking of purchasing that system.

Evening Len yes i thoroughly looked and there was no sign of any scratches whatsoever. It is parked right out side my front door in our car park. What i do know is this would not come off on its own.
