Its been a bit since I touched upon this, but apparently Ive heard from 2 dealerships that its the factory brand brake pads that are "too rough" or something along those lines.
-
I'll have to ask, its sad I even have to call the place to double check but your right...You never know. Its when the car is driving slowly though, not when Im pressing on the brake.
-
I've heard that the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) brake pads for that particular Lexus model are known to be quite abrasive or tight, leading to squealing noises when driving slowly, such as in a parking lot. Has anyone else experienced this issue, or is it just me?
-
As you can see, I've got a small tear on the drivers side, and they all want to rip it off or put a new leather on there. Toyota said they only can replace the entire inner door plastic panel (or whatever its called). Whats this part called, and can I find it on eBay?
-
Has anyone bought one of these and installed?

My car, when doing a slow cruise (foot off brake and gass) and just letting it roll, I hear like screeching. Some guy told me he had the same problem with his Lexus, and another told me it was because the original manufactured brakes from Lexus were "too rough" or something along those lines.
Anyone else have or having this issue?
P.S.
I've had it checked and they said pads and discs were fine.

Check whether the brake pads are used up?
Everyone told me the break pads are good and that the discs are good so I guess next option is the pins and grease them up?

When I'm driving slow speeds (like foot off the pedal) and just cruising, I hear the brakes or something screeching/squealing. The last mechanic told me he had the same issue on his Lexus SUV and he needed to get non-OEM brakes. In other words, he said the ones from Lexus were way too rough and to get "softer" ones whatever that means?
Does/did anyone have this problem?

I've got a 2013 Lexus IS300h and I was thinking of upgrading the infotainment system with this from eBay
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Android-10-Multimedia-Player-Touch-Screen-for-Lexus-IS-IS250-IS300-2013-2018/293546828697?hash=item4458c12399:g:QWIAAOSwf-ReleD3Anyone try to buy this or know of someone that upgraded theirs?

Has anyone upgraded to something like this ^ I've got a 2013 Lexus IS300h and not sure it will work with this.
I'd love to hear feedback on any PROS or CONS.

I wanted to ask for those with a 2013 Lexus IS300h or a few years after, has anyone bought this product or know someone who has?
https://4x4shop.ca/product/2014-2019-lexus-carplay-and-android-auto-video-interface/I'd love to upgrade my smaller screen, with this more slick and clean one but I know it's had issues in the past with small things like times not syncing up (digitally one vs the analog), or audio issues.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi DC. I've just come across your thread. I've looked up the cellllink neo only to find its a battery for a dashcam. One question. What dashcam are you using? Why does it need a battery? I'm a bit flummoxed because I fitted the Nextbase 322gw which is forwarded facing and has a rear facing camera attached to it. Both give superb quality video. I also got the hardwire kit. I looked in my handbook to see which fuse I could use either for constant power or for power to be turned on and off via ignition. I can't understand also why such a high fuse rating of 15 amp is required when my nextbase is only 2 amp. Please enlighten me.
what "matt8" had said sums it up. I wanted my car to record while it was off because issues happen even when your car is off. I too had to hardwire my car, but first to the Battery and then the camera would extend to the Battery. This ensures I'm not taking away from my main Battery in my vehicle.
To answer your question of what I'm camera I'm using, its a Thinkware U1000

Did you try the advice from Herbie above:
If you're not convinced about P/Outlet No.1 you could use the S/HTR F/L which is the Seat Heater Front Left (or F/R, Front Right). I wouldn't think they would have power on with ignition off.
I tried it and it worked. This time when I turned the car off after 5 seconds the charging stopped as well. Thanks!

Because it says "P/Outlet No.1" - it really is that simple.
I tried to put it in that fuse but when the car was off, the Battery was still charging. So that one must not be an ACC.

I'd like to order a drivers side interior door panel for my 2013 Lexus IS300h. Any ideas on where I can buy this from?

Ps there is also a "howto" guide here on what fuse to use and how to run the wires. I'm sure you can find it via the search
Where can I find this?

Unless you don't have confidence on how to use one?
That's probably it. All those buttons compared to the lamp that just lights up.

I guess you didn't get yourself a multimeter eh?
Not yet, but I will soon. I can also get one of these, right?
-
As shown in the attached image? How do you know it's just for the "cig lighter/power outlet". I can't find diagram with description for what fuse is what in the owners manual or online.

Okay, thank you very much for that. I'm looking to install a dash cam on my vehicle and needed to know in order to get the right "add a fuse" as shown in this amazon Link:

53,738 kilometers. I think I also, found out the issue I'm having after reading different forums and videos related to my Lexus model and year. Shim kits.....Never heard of this and assumed new brakes came with this, but I guess not.
