I had a Greeves 250 at 16, and I also had some very close shaves. I have had a couple of Specialized e bikes, and an Orbea Wild FS… I think buying a Specialized e bike, is expensive, compared to the Orbea, which has similar components… I only rode them on the roads, and had the green gunge in the tubes, in case of punctures… I no longer have the Orbea. It’s cheap, compared to many other makes…! I agree with Daniel. You definitely need to test drive the LC. I have had several cars, but not a Maserati... You mention an F Type Jag V8... I think my LC 500 is better than the SVR that I had...! I had the LC Coupe before my Convertible, both great cars...

Hello Phil, Like yourself, I have had several different cars. Roger Young, my local Range Rover and Jaguar Dealer, has said to me a couple of times, my middle name should be depreciation…! And I still deal with him… My thoughts are very similar to Linas. The Lexus LC 500 Coupe Club’s Topic, Apple Car Play, mentions some of the cars that I have had… I also had an Alpina XD3…. I gave them their reg back…! The LC 500 does feel very special for a number of reasons. You definitely need to try one, and have a good look around it… I had a Coupe, before my Convertible, both great cars… Go on, spoil yourself, and also spoil your Mrs…!

I agree, the coming Genesis looks interesting, and with the build quality of Hyundai they could be very reliable. I am told that the Ioniq 5 that I have ordered, should be delivered in Sept/Oct. The Genesis GV 70 SUV reviews look good. Hopefully they will also do it in fully electric...

Personal choice, and how much you want to spend…! The LC 500 is a great car…! The 4 wheel Active Steering is actually noticeable and helpful when parking etc… I personally think the Carbon Fibre Roof, and the Carbon Fibre Scuff Plates with LEXUS Inscription, both look good. I have ordered an Ionic 5 to go with my noisy V8 Convertible… I have had several electric cars… I had the Standard Tesla Model 3, and then bought the Long Range, not for the additional range, but for the AWD, for the winter months… Living where I do, there are numerous roads, that don’t get gritted by the Council… The very poor build quality is noticeable, and having an iPad, for various controls, was weird…! Elon is trying to become the richest man in the world, not the 2nd, as he currently is… His interest, is his own wealth, not the quality of the cars, that don’t have adequate quality control systems… There are many that will disagree with me... I have also had two I Pace’s, but I think the Ionic 5, will be better than the I Pace… And a lot less money, brand new, compared to a used I Pace First Edition…! Hello Graeme, No my training, was lots of actual flying, and lots of lessons in a class room, and lots of written exams… It was certainly difficult to learn to hover, even with no wind…! When we decided to move after my accident. A guy a few houses away from where we moved to, heard about my accident, and came to see me. He was a member of a club that used their computers to fly planes etc. He asked me if I would come down to his house, so I could teach him to hover and fly a helicopter… Because I wanted nothing to do with helicopters, I said I couldn’t help him… I didn’t even want to use a computer screen to fly one…! I kept friends with the guy…! Actually, I know several people that also enjoy Flight Simulators, there are several makes of FS’s… I imagine it's good fun. Does the FS include for you to also talk to an air traffic controller…? FS’s are certainly a lot cheaper than the real thing…! Enjoy it! Your feet are on the ground…!!! Like you, I am going to enjoy my cars…!

You should apologise to John for your post Paul... Your post is incorrect... In the very near future, there will be a post on the LC 500 Topics, which will mention how John has been very helpful, with a very serious problem that an owner of a Brand New LC 500 has had... I have been involved with the PM's, between both John, and the owner of the Brand New LC 500. Having been a successful businessman... and employed various Consultants and Lawyers. I am very aware of John's ability to help Forum members... and so is the owner of the Brand New LC 500...
