  1. The robots put the body together but the humans screw in the interior lol
  2. Thank you Gary for answering my question. I came across a late 2020 F sport in blue for sale. Test drive booked for Friday. Do UX's that are made during covid (2020-2022) have the same strong build quality as the pre covid cars?
  3. Based on this, some takumis dont have avs. Is that an issue when it comes to comfort?
  4. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP:) 1 final question: are cars that are built during covid (2020-2022) have the same good build quality as the cars made before and after?
  5. Appreciate all the help 🙂 If AVS was an optional extra on the earlier cars, how can u tell if a car has it?
  6. Hi all. I'm hoping to pick someones brain on a few queries I have about the F sport. Majority I have seen up for sale are F sport premium plus pack. What is the difference between them and the F sport takumi pack? How can you tell if a car has AVS? Do the tyres make a difference to comfort? If so, which tyres are the best for comfort? Do all UX25H's have android auto? If not, which year do they start from? We want something quite and comfortable. We like the look at the F sport and it fits our budget but are not sure how comfortable they are. I appreciate all the replies.
  7. Hi all I'm hoping to pick someones brain about the dilemma I have. I am now in a position to buy myself something special. I have narrowed it down to the C63 (W204 6.2) or an RCF. Has anyone on here owned both? What are your thoughts? Thank you for your help in advanve :)
  8. Hi owners. I am looking to upgrade to a es300h in a few months. Could i please pick your brains on the spec differences between the premium edition and the takumi? From my understanding, the only differences are: 360 camera, hud, rear reclining seats, quality of leather and the camera mirrors(optional extra). Am i right or wrong? Have i missed anything? Thank you for your help in advance 🙂
  9. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP AND INPUT 🙂 Got an update: Spoke to the general manager at Lexus bham. He initially justified disabling the buzzer 🤣. It took some convincing for him to ask me to bring the car in on Friday. They will be enabling the buzzer and checking out the car thoroughly to see what is causing the issue. Fingers crossed it will forth time lucky.
  10. We pay our hard earned money for a product or service. We expect them to look after our cars during the time its with them irrespective of how much it is worth. Its our pride and joy. You would expect them to fix issues they have caused and not bodge them. Its unlike Lexus to do what they did.
  11. Ive given them 2 attempts already. I dont want to complain to them because i understand how good the brand is in terms of their general customer service and the build quality/reliability of their cars. I do understand people make mistakes but that does not mean you skimp on safety and bodge fixes. That is sooo unlike Lexus. I will call Lexus uk and see what they say about it. I will keep you all updated.
  12. @Moleman, i have attached to this a message a video of a side effect of their 'fix'. They have fully disabled the seatbelt buzzer which means it dont buzz when driving. It only displays a warning. It could be seen as a safety issue which can also relate to issues during an mot 😞 20220215_135249.mp4
  13. 1. The issue was not there before the service last week. 2. The issue was a buzzer constantly going off with no warnin lights. 3. To retify the issue, they disabled the seatbelt buzzer. 4. The drawback is, now anyone can drive the car without the seatbelt on and a buzzer sounding which is a safety issue although the seatbelt sign comes on no buzzer sounds now. They kept on fobbing me off when I asked them for the cause. I have attached a video of the noise before i took it back for a third time yesterday.as you can see, now warning lights on at all. I am belted up. Hope that helps 20220214_105611.mp4
  14. Hi everyone. My apologies, i forgot to write up an update yesterday. I took the car back to Lexus for the third time. They got around the issue by disabiling the seatbelt buzzer. It has resolved the issue but i think their method was not the right way togo about it. Now, if i forget to put on my seatbelt, the car will not sound the buzzer and will only display the sign on the dash. What do you guys think?
