Evening everyone, Sorry if this has already been discussed but what headlamp bulbs would you recommend for my IS300h F-Sport? When I bought the car I noticed that one headlamp bulb was white and other one yellow so I am guessing that one is Xenon and someone has just popped a cheap bulb in the other at some point? I have checked with Lexus and they want £82 a bulb! Surely this is a tad steep or am I just being tight? Thanks in advance for your replied and advice.

It hasn't had a hybrid health check for around 4 years so my battery warranty wil be gone. Is it worth the extra cost for the health check?

Hi everyone, In October my car will have done close to 100000 miles and it will have been a year since it's last service. I have owned it for around 6 weeks now. It has had it's first four or so services at Lexus and it's last four or so services at Halfords. Should I have it serviced at Lexus or should I go for an independent? If independent who would be good to go to in or around the Huddersfield area? Many thanks in advance 👍

Evening all, I have had my Is300h for around 2 weeks now and love it! I have a couple of small issues. I have tried out two MP3 albums loaded onto a 4gb USB stick which has been formatted to FAT32 and the USB does not show up either in port 1 or 2. The other issue is my sat nav keeps saying that I need to login to see traffic info. I put the mylexus details in but it keeps saying that it can't connect. Thanks for reading, any ideas?

I found a bit of rust on the lip of my bonnet 😧 and the bodywork is no longer under warranty 😧😧 Can't have that so will be going to get a quote. Don't think it will be too bad.

I have just bought a 2013 is300h with 98000 on the clock from a second hand garage outside the Lexus network. It is too early to tell if there will be issues I suppose but I do work for a local authority licensing team and a lot of the drivers drive Lexus and I have seen mileages around 300000 and still going without issues. My personal opinion is if you are buying a quality car and it has been well maintained then they should be fine

Apologies for the quality of the photography but here she is. Not sure the photo does the colour justice. Log book says silver but looks much more than standard silver 🤔 Can I just ask about the 'essential servicing'. I presume that they do less checks etc as the price is cheaper? Cheers

Thanks Roy, No, didn't buy the car from a dealer. I have been thinking about a service plan. I have looked to see how much a Lexus main dealer charges for a 100000 service and it says £660. I did have a major done on the Mercedes at a specialist. This and a gearbox oil change and brake fluid change set me back £880! I dread to think what the dealer would have charged me!

Hi everyone, I have just traded in my 2012 Mercedes 250d Coupe for a Lexus IS300h F-Sport. I have had a look at the IS300h for a while and finally took the plunge and picked it up on Tuesday. I have been driving German cars for many years (2 BMW's, 2 Audi's and 1 Mercedes) but felt that they were all getting to feel the same and wanted something different. It's a 2013 model with the red leather seats and a sort of champagne silver exterior. Not sure what this colour is called but I love the colour combo on the car and I think the all round design is amazing!. It's done 98000 miles but to be fair still feels tight and drives great! So far I have found that the engine is far, far smoother than the Mercedes and I find myself trying to run on electric only at every opportunity. Maybe this will wear off in time or maybe it is because I am a tight Yorkshire man and this will continue until I change my car again! 😄 I am slowly getting used to the infotainment system which I found very confusing to start with. One thing I can't fathom out is how to play MP3 files from a USB stick. Every time I load some files the car just can't see them for some reason.
