  1. Thank you both for your reply, just to update everyone in case anyone gets the same issue, the dealer could not find anything wrong at the time, however a few weeks later the light came on permanently, took it to Costco and they changed my TPMS sensor for me and all appears ok so far, only been a couple of days but looks like its been fixed. 12v battery was actually replaced a couple of years ago so wasnt suspecting that because of the age of it, as you guys have rightly suggested when it was on its way out I did get random warning lights so it was definitely worth checking.
  2. Hi Everyone I've got a weird issue with my 2013 IS300H, after 20mins or so of driving, my TPMS light starts blinking and then stays on, the dealer has checked it out and could not find any issues with the sensors, I then left it for a year or so as Lexus suggested one may go wrong later on at which point I can replace. A year later I was in Costco for something and they also checked all my TPMS sensors and could not find a issue with batteries etc, my car is due its MOT in a week and i'm worried if it comes on then they may fail it, has anyone had this issue before and have any ideas? Since its not playing up when I take it in its proving difficult to troubleshoot which one it could be.. Whenever i've check tyre pressures they seem fine so I'm not losing any air either. Thanks 🙂
  3. Thank you for the update, reading experiences like this further my decision to continue buying Lexus vehicles going forward, dont think many other manufacturers would have completing the work on a car over a certain age, I had a E class previously (what a nightmare that was to own!) and felt like they tried to wiggle out of even legitimate claims.
  4. That's good news, fingers crossed it was just a blip, I've also heard weird errors can come when your 12v battery is on its way out so there's also worth checking maybe.
  5. Please update the thread to let us know how you get on with the dealer 🙂
  6. Thank you for your post, good info 🙂 Quick couple of questions: - Any chance you can PM me where you purchased it from? I also want to buy it - Have you noticed any difference to the ML sound system quality? I've got a late 2013 Premier with ML and never been impressed with the sound system, I suspect its because the bluetooth codec is the older one with less bandwidth, i'm hoping getting roadtop would also improve this due to upgrading the bluetooth version.
  7. Thank you so much for all the info, taking all that apart scares me so will have to try and find someone reputable to do it for me
  8. Thank you all, just came across this video which did some good controlled tests, whats interesting is the results at the 6:10 mark: In a nutshell, under 10 degrees the all weather tyres perform better in the rain, looking at London weather averages, that would be 4 months out of the year (Nov to Feb) the all weather tyres should outperform, rest of the year they are still not too bad but do lag behind summer tyres a bit. Trying to decide what to do now, if I go for all season i'd have to replace all 4 tyres, my rears still have 5 to 6mm left I think so that feels like a bit of a waste, would welcome thoughts from the members here 🙂
  9. I am after a unit too, any chance you can PM me (or post here) what seller you purchased from? trying to use someone who fellow members here have used before 🙂
  10. Hi everyone I purchased my car around 3.5 years ago and its got Bridgestone Turanza all round, I only do around 4k miles per year now, both front tyres have around 4mm left but I've noticed some cracking as attached. I cant see any DOT codes on these (heard they may be behind the tyre where I cannot see it) so not sure how old these are, at least 4 years old I'd imagine as i've not changed it since my car ownership, would you guys replace these tyres based on this? Costco have the MICHELIN e.PRIMACY ones available for my car for the fronts so thinking would just go for that (not been overly pleased with my Bridgestones), open to any feedback about my tyre choice too 🙂 Thanks!
  11. Thank you both for your replies, I'll have a look and go for one of these systems, the one I originally looked at the back/forward skip buttons on the steering wheel for the music do not work but think thats not an issue for the above 2 so thats good, if anyone has any youtube links handy on installation then please post them, I'll also do a search when my system arrives as I think i've seen it before on this forum somewhere 🙂
  12. Hi Everyone I've seen various options available for retrofitted Android Auto / Apple Carplay into the IS300H and had a couple of questions, I've got a late 2013 IS300H premier with reversing camera and Mark Levinson sound system. 1) Is there a system which most owners here have gone for which they'd recommend? Some even seem to have bigger screens then the OEM one which would be handy. 2) Does changing the system affect the sound quality at all and do the steering wheel buttons and reversing camera etc still work? I definitely am not confident in doing this so I would probably call the Lexus or Toyota dealer and ask them for a price, appreciate people are saying its quite easy but i'm too nervous to tackle this myself. Advice would be appreciated as I love my car and this would definitely freshen it up a bit for me 🙂
  13. Yep that is correct, my understanding is non dealers can do this quite easily though 🙂
  14. Thank you for the link, do you know if it will work with a late 2013 with the mark levinson sound system? Theres no way I would be able to do this myself so think I'd have to find a specialist.
