Yep, but sure he wanted stainless ! Not a simple bolt on , will need ramp + welding + probably hangers + he states " not mechanically minded " . Good luck 🤞 -
Looking at pictures,bodge job doesn't cover it ! No silencer .? That's going to cost a pretty penny .😞

I think difference in road tax for a manual is +£245 a year . Around 21/2 hours labour at Lexus dealers . But auto or manual can be expensive on repairs .( Just like any car these days )

Well I never , I've always thought sel,sport,SR, advance,f-sport etc were different models in IS range . Now I know their different trim levels thanks for info .

Maybe I'm wrong but didn't all is 250s come in 3 different trim levels ,basic ... standard ...and optional . This one in question has heated seats + sat Nav so is not basic trim .

I have a manual sports model ,the gearbox is excellent ,gear selection the best in any car I've ever owned .( That's a lot !! ) I drive the car to my destination not the other way round .road tax is higher no rhyme or reason but that's why manuals tend to be cheaper to buy .I live in Kilmarnock you are welcome to come and see if you like it .

I replaced the centre and rear silencers section for 1 k ,in stainless steel . Just tell fabricators to make near as stock as possible . Just a nice burble now 😁

That one has double tips at rear and as advert states ...may have to rework rear bumper to accommodate . Personally I would get a custom made stainless steel exhaust made . Have done mine .is 250 std ...and happy with it , probably cheaper too .

Yes and those shocks from LPD are on sale too !! . At least LPD sent an email to customers warning them that prices were going up but taking the P comes to mind 🤬

Agreed , could have went with custom mild steel option but have only done 72,000 miles so rock and hard place comes to mind ! For a couple hundred quid more opted for stainless knowing I can more or less forget about for a good few years .

Hi all , finally took plunge yesterday and got my totally rusted exhaust removed for a nice shiny stainless one . Centre piece and silencers were rotten due to short journeys and I think the nice temperate weather here in Scotland . 😀. S/S for sure is noisier but is acceptable to me . Lifetime guarantee so don't need to worry again for piece of mind 😊
