Yeah Artisan do a GSF one, as do TOM's & Novel - There is a few variants available. I havent seen any negative feedback regarding the size on the ones from TOMS/Novel so may be worth researching whom you order from
You know when you go out for dinner and you see the aged rib eye ?
You talk yourself out of it and go for the sirloin instead as it's a bigger cut and cheaper. As you chew your steak a tear slowly builds up in your eye and starts to drip as you long for the rib eye and should of just taken the option. This... This is why you should get the rcf.
Look over the copious amounts of threads by the "F" owners... You will see not a single person complain about economy. Not a single person saying they wish they bought a hybrid instead.
Get your finances in line, and book your test drive. You'll buy it once your done.
There are some stunning aftermarket wheels worth looking at incase you don't have much luck. Also take into account that people say you should buy smaller wheels for winter / snow use. So that's worth a good consideration
Hey Ross !
Let us know what you think, I'm contemplating a UXe as a daily commuter, but I just don't know if I like the car enough or not 🤣. I love some of the new colours though (Khaki, carnelian)
Looking forward to your image dropping
There's some nice examples up on AT at present and one with some photos about to drop. 2010 blue good mileage.
I get what your saying I find the lexus hybrid engines soulless and uninspiring.
(I mean the RX & LS & LC may be different but all the normal ones are muh )
If you fancy something truly inspiring and fun have you considered something like... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202104091163148?atmobcid=soc3
The ISF holds its value and are a beast to drive.
Effectively the IS250 on steroids.
Frequently, just pop into the F forums where we compete for the lowest number possible on the fuel consumption gauge.
@Habs I can get 35-40MPG in a GSF (5LV8) if I drive it like my mother on the motorway and stay in low revs.
Even my wife's NX I can get 45+ in comftably.
Are you utilising the drive modes differently ? Or just staying in ECO ? Different modes work better for different road types.
Check all seats are in a proper upright position. Including the back ones. Make sure driver seat isn't on to big a decline.
Make sure rear seats are safely in upright position also
Dealers over price lots of items, they sell the products at inflated prices usually over even SRP's. You will also have different dealers quote you completely different prices as they work on localized mark ups. Because they can. Id buy the import, our trade agreement with Japan isnt awful so thats always a positive. Pre brexit it would of probably cost you more than it does now.
I had the IS250 and traded it in for my GSF.
It left me at about 130k miles. Had 0 problems until towards about 125k.
Airbag light started to play up for the driver knee airbag, but replacing the Squibb connector rectified this (£20odd).
The knob started to play up on the radio but I never used it anyway due to steering wheel controls.
I would buy another one if I wanted a cheap V6 in a heart beat, the engine seemed bullet proof and I didn't exactly look after it.
