I may or may not work in a role which is linked to direct positive covid cases. The increase in positive testing is substantial, non-vaccinated people people of all ages are still getting very ill. And those vaccinated can still get some horrendous symptoms. I personally wish all Lateral flow testing was scrapped and PCR was the only option.

Except it wont, if the camera is wired in by Lexus the installation job itself is covered by them as will be the cable or any wiring fault. As for the hardware itself now that's where its a tad different. The device going wrong or developing a fault would require you to take your car back to a dealer ship or drive to a Halfords for example. If the camera has a fault Halfords will exchange it under a 12 month warranty, or Lexus will do exactly the same under the same type of warranty. The device will had the same warranty period no-matter where purchased from as its an accessory so only covered with a 12 month guarantee under the consumer rights act. The downside to doing it through Lexus though at this point is you now want to hope that the tech team are available to come look at it right away and not have to book the car in. With Halfords, you unplug the cable from the side of camera, walk into customer services and explain the issue. If your given a new camera right away you walk back and plug the cable into the side of the unit and drive off. If anything the Halfords option as a whole is a smoother process for "if it goes wrong"

The 622 GW is a great camera resolution is unmatched, but you can also get some 1080p ones which have a really good parking mode including night vision. For the 622 your talking £300ish including the rear camera. Why that may be true surely it would also be possible to see what they could offer on just installing a self supplied camera, the likelihood of a further deal on the camera and fitting of it will be lower because it wasn't agreed during the "spec" of the vehicle and during the delivery phase of the vehicle they are less likely to throw offers at it. The dealer supplied 380 needs a serious upgrade to be a competitive product.

Personally I dont rate the lexus supplied Nextbase dash-cam, Its an overpriced 1080p camera. You can buy the top of the range ones on the market for a similar price.

May aswell just order it from the Gov website or 119 for free, if your a positive case contact and not double jabbed your isolating regardless of the result. Not worth any fee.

I like the engine but i dislike the interior, it has the cheaper car look vs its proper "F" competitors. -

Unfortunately looking at the full parts available on lexus direct etc I would indeed concur, they look to be normal bulbs. https://lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/parts/lexus-rc-f/lexus-rc-f-2014-onwards/lexus-rc-f-exterior-interior/lexus-wy21w-indicator-bulb/ -
Pondering IS300h To RCF Upgrade

Tell you what though, I really am semi excited about the first forum member grabbing the Track Edition RCF. That thing is a future classic in waiting but the price just isn't budging while they sit in Lexus Show rooms. If i could grab one for 50 we would be talking. Could buy an RCF Carbon, add your own spoiler and tit exhaust system for a lot less than those bad boys. -
Savage Geese - LC500 Ownership Review
Arnett replied to Charliecloud's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
Pretty certain there isn't a foot handbrake at all in the RCF, there isn't in the GSF (saloon version). I'm 99.99% certain It's the same. So the main concern you may have is intact not one to worry about. 😇 -

I had already ran the cable both times but it wasn't perfect, was poking out in numerous places. They just tidied up my half baked attempt.

I have my cars re-gassed every 4 years maximum. I personally am a heavy air con user, my wife not so much. The prices vary so much based on gas prices and mark ups around the place but its a very quick job if you fancy just trying to book it in. Alternatively wait till it next goes into the dealer and just add it on with the service.

Lexus Ipswich is my local Lexus also, I have never purchased a dashcam and install from them. BUT when I have taken the cars in for a service (or a test drive as im bored) I have always come back to find my car fully cabled up for free and the work is always flawless. I rate the Ipswich dealer quite highly, the sales staff are not remotely pushy or even "typical" car salesman. The environment inside is pretty chill aswell.

The best advice anyone can give you is regarding make sure you buy it and have it delivered. Pay for it over the phone to be fully covered by distant selling regulation. Email the dealer queries regarding tyres, brakes, evidence of service history in advance, quality of paint in person vs pictures (Swirls etc). You then have all that as evidence. Further to that 2015 Consumer rights act also put much better overall protection in place for people buying used cars as a whole. If it does become faulty within 30 days you can still request a full refund if the car becomes faulty. Compared to 5 years ago there is so much protection for buying used cars forms dealers and its a lot more black and white. Looking over the car in question, if I was to make a blind purchase based on what I can find about the dealer online, the photos and the car itself I wouldn't be overly nervous. The car looks in really good condition 81 photos which is really good. No yellow fade to the lights, my only gripe is the rear plate looks wonky and the front plate looks bent/curved.

Any idea what this noise is?
Arnett replied to ubersonic's topic in Lexus F Club - Lexus IS-F / GS-F / RC-F Club
Sounds like the variable emissions reduction system to me, according to google its a known problem easily fixed by installing a Hydrogen torque system behind the flux capacitor. Once installed run on electric for 1 hour every 20 hours driven Wala. Should sort it. Yeah Im talking poo, but I hope you manage to get to the bottom of it. -
Savage Geese - LC500 Ownership Review

I have to disagree with your analysis of the video ever so slightly, more so than not is the part of your text that I chose not to purge out of the above quote. He loves the car and even openly admits that once his lease has ended he is planning on purchasing one outright. But regarding his track comments the way he is phrasing it is that, Yes it is NOT a track car but the car itself keeps drawing him back to the track and he loves that about it. That's a very positive statement which I believe you may have misunderstood. If you can buy a non track car and enjoy it on a circuit that's only good. I couldn't see where he actually modified it I thought that he hasn't modified it he mentions about how Lexus have evolved each production type of LC ---- Personally I agree with him in regard to a couple of things though, The LC external dimensions vs accessible space it is a tad boaty. Lexus Beeps are bloody annoying as are the hold your hands safety features that are almost impossible to fully disable without a peddle dance. And it is a bloody nice sounding machine. Theres some pretty nice prices on AT atm for the LC.... 😅 -

I love the LC500, Videos and Photos do not give the car the true justice it deserves. The white platinum is just drop dead gorgeous, I have been lucky enough to see one in person and the way the colour blends into the lights and the silvers around it... Just wow... Possibly the only white car I would buy haha. Its just bloody nice. -
