N615 PYP MOT Expired 2013 and the car they worked on J375 BWB MOT Expired 2010.. didnt last long lol.

Ok.. so I acquired a 220d a couple of weeks ago, the car has 110k on the clock and its fine at the moment, doesnt loose coolant and drives fine (not been on a run yet) is it a matter of when not if that the HG will fail? Does servicing make a difference? Is there a particular mileage that it becomes more vulnerable? any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Steve

Hi Andy, just bought an 07 IS220D myself, absolutely love it. The lag apparently is part of the package but you get used to getting the gear change right. Happy driving 🙂 Steve

This has 110k miles on it but has been well serviced, its giving me about 29mpg just tatting around but not taken it on a run yet. Yes the lag can catch you out but got used to picking the gears at the right time. The sound system is amazing in it. Steve

TBH Lexus had never appealed to me but then again I had never looked properly before this came in. Always knew they were a well built quality Toyota but saw them as an old mans car. But then again I am an old man 🤣🤣

Hello! Well as a bit of a car trader I picked up a 2007 IS 220D with all the bells and whistles for my stock, due to the present situation nothings going to sell (my choice) I have been using the Lexus and like it that much I've bought it off myself!
