Thanks so much for the help guys- I knew the car didn't have a serious issue so it helped to put my mind at rest. A set of jump leads and a relatives car brought it back to life today, I'll sort a new battery asap. Thanks again, James

Thanks Paul, I haven't been using the car daily in three weeks now, just doing very short runs of a few miles twice a week or so. I did a lap of the m60 about ten days ago in the hope it would keep everything topped up, but clearly not. It still won't start so I'll get someone out tomorrow with jump leads. Thanks for the help!

Thanks Dec, That was initial thought but with the CD player etc working I dismissed it. I'll try it again later. Thanks for the help

Hi guys, need some help! Got in from taking my girlfriend to work and decided to give my is250 a thorough interior clean. Switched the car on, everything fine, CD player works etc. Finished cleaning and wanted to move the car back further up my drive so did everything as usual, foot on the brake, press the push start button...…...not starting. Car makes a loud ticking noise, instrument dials flicker and the gauges go to move but the car will not start. It's also telling me 'parking brake' and 'TRC' off when I try to start it. It was its usual immaculate self whilst taking my girlfriend to work, any ideas? Any help is much appreciated, James
