This maybe an absurd reply but my 2013 toyota did the same, I disconnected battery to clear the fault, and then discovered hidden under the dash is a tpms reset button, I pressed this for 5 seconds light flashed 3 times then went out and has been fine since doing this, check if your Lexus has a reset button, apologies if this is a waste of time👍

Sorry I have no idea what this part is or looks like, however I lost a small plastic clip off my current car, and a mate 3D printed one for me, just an idea 💡 Stew

Would you run an LC outside of Lexus Relax.

My latest car is a used Toyota Rav 4 2013 when I bought it , it had full AA inspection and an additional warranty at Spectrum, which has been totally useless, imo they use every excuse not to pay out, and if you look at their reviews on trust pilot, you will see their abysmall reviews, my fault is an error code which is probably a wiring problem, they told me they do cover electrics but do not cover wiring 🤔 most of these aftermarket warranties do not offer peace of mind as nearly everything is down to fair wear and tear which is not covered, rant over 🤐 -
One for Boomer, who I know is/was hankering after a silver roof😃 https://carfromjapan.com/cheap-used-lexus-sc-2010-for-sale-64f45403b865888276ae5182

Each to their own I suppose, but imo the sc will be a true classic one day, appreciate what it is and and the unquestionable quality, I don't think anyone would recover the dash on a Bentley let's say, and to me the sc finish is not far off that standard, just my opinion of course 😉

Hi Stephen glad to see my old car is going to some nice places👍 looks good have you done much to it? My brother has recently bought a stag, having driven that makes me appreciate just how good the sc is, one day I will have another sc perhaps, hope you are being careful with that throttle booster😀Stew

I personally don't need them, but a photo or year of car they came off would be a help, do they have tyres?

£37 per night for a French farmhouse???, i watched 4in a bed recently god knows why😗 one was glamping in a posh shed the double bed touched 3 of the walls, make your own breakfast on a gaz stove, however there was a hot tub, £196 per night 🌙 the world's gone mad 😠 Stew

I had only had my sc one week when I took it in for recall, got free health check, lovely coffees at reception, valeted, and a new ux courtesy car, felt like a lottery winner 🏆

They were probably refering to your car when they said outstanding 👏 🤣

See I do not sell rubbish and it never had leaves on it when I owned it😃 TBH I fitted those sensors they are dolphin ones as Bob describes, you do not need to to remove bumper to fit from memory there is a good length of wire and a little connector and each sensor just pushes in from outside the car then click connectors together I used the original buzzer🤩 Stew

Unless you are David Beckham or have a company Lexus, I don't think anyone can afford £150+ per hour labour charges, I have a fault on my Rav 4 and 3 main dealers could not tell what the fault actually is!! I read of one person who had his car in a dealer for 5days before they discovered a loose connector on the ecu plug, we all love our Lexi and know they are special, but to a competent technician they are no different to work on than any other car! Just my opinion 🤷 Stew

Thanks for giving clean engine a mention, while you have been thinking what to do next! I have been tinkering with my new, 11 Yr old Rav so far, fitted bonnet protector, resprayed wheels and calipers, added black centre caps and wheelnuts, carbon cill protectors, rear bumper ss protector , twin exhaust, mudflaps, invincible badges to sides, lanoguarded underneath there is more but cannot recall at the moment, forgive me its not a Lexus🤔
-
From what little I understand its virtually always the rears you can inspect them yourself, even I managed to do that!!!
-
No not unless someone gets legless over Christmas 🤐
-
Boomer and Neil, I have found the front mats which match Boomers, rears, also I have found a pair of genuine rears black that would match Neil's fronts, if you want them send me your addresses (pm me) and I will post FOC, but might leave till after Christmas now🤔

Thanks ever so much, I am afraid of taking it to toyota at£150+ per hour with an unidentified fault, 2 people seem to have cured this and eventually found a loose pin in one of the connectors it's not so much fixing it as identify where the fault is, I did ask on Rav4 forum but no replies
