    Is the black rubber switch not for locking rather than opening? Mine opens by putting hand inside handle.

    Today my rear blind is having a dickie. Only started doing this today, been retracting on reverse as it should up to now. It opens and closes on the button but it sometimes retracts when I go into reverse now but often does not. As if the trigger to fold is not connecting. Any ideas?

    As above really. I think the Lexus is a complex beast and needs servicing by someone with experience of the animal. My previous mechanics, although competent on my Honda have no knowledge of Lexus, so looking for recommendations.

    not had car long . Last service was done for previous owner some 2500 milles ago. Will not be going there for it to be done.

    Witton park , near Blackburn is to open a drive in cinema. I can remember these in Johannesburg many years ago and you hung a speaker on the inside of your window. It seems now that the system is to use your car radio to get the soundtrack. I believe that if my ignition is on for that length of time, with no engine running, then my battery will be so flat that my car will not start? I have worked on the car with ignition on for half an hour and it flattens the battery to nowt even with no ac nor radio. Am i right or should the battery be able to run ignition and radio/nav pack for a couple of hours?

    Been looking at spoilers but the boot ones that I have seen are either nothing at all or massively clumsy and the pics for roof ones are not very clear, or not shown on a Lexus. Has anyone got either that look good. Pics please

    i had them on my previous car, a Honda accord.They go misty after a while and then reduce visibility when cornering. Similarly in heavy rain they reduce visibility. Not too good. The one on the moonroof is a winner though if you can find one in UK.

    Page 283 of my owners manual shows a drop down storage space above the mirror. Which car, if any, got this and is it available to retro fit? I think the is250 is a bit mean on cubby holes.

    found one on a scrapper, did not realize all one piece up the side of glass to roof top. Lexus wanted £50.60 plus vat!
