  1. Nutty slack
  2. Straight pass, no advisories. Woohoo!
  3. Mine is booked in on Friday. Have we got an MOT thread on here?
  4. You can only zero one sender, not all of them.
  5. The Nordic Blue one is the one he asked about the key not detected.
  6. So far so good for me. 1993 I bought a Saab. Next dozen cars exclusively Saab (mostly pre General Motors). 2020 bought a Lexus, feeling like a deserter. Not really sure it counts as a conquest, more a logical next step.
  7. The borrowed time thing is not really fair to level at the traction battery. For Lexus to guarantee it for 15 years and unlimited miles means they have some faith in them. Few have actually failed and there are other options if it does go. Rather have that potential failure than say a dsg box!

  9. This is the document from Lexus that you need for traction battery.
  10. Could be as simple as no key detected info showing as transponder may have been moved away from vehicle while pictures were being taken. Think it says "key not detected".
  11. Mine dropped off as well. Bit the bullet and had a stainless rear end made up. £600.
  12. Bear in mind that the car will be 15 next year and so Lexus hybrid battery guarantee will then be unavailable to you. Touch expensive. For that I would expect exhaust system to be excellent, all tyres excellent and good makes, evidence that shocks were not original.

  14. Swiatek. Pretty impressive. Wonder what car they gave her?
  15. I can still see one or two gs450h 's that are still for sale from when I was looking in January. Minimum requirements should be recent Lexus hybrid health check. Best also check exhaust, leaking radiator and dampers. Expect to spend a grand on first years maintenance. Anything less is a bonus. Buy a 10+ year old car and your depreciation should be less than this figure.
  16. 30 mpg with a top box and 500 miles on French toll motorway in gs450h, and a load of wine.
  17. I used a lot of POR15 on my Saab 900. If applied correctly it does work well. Only problem is keeping the lid of the paint tin clean or it will never come off again.
  18. Drove back yesterday. Another 650 mile straight run. Car was flawless. After spending the day in the seats I could still walk. Also nice to have the fantastic headlights in the dark. Thought my eyes were getting too old for night driving with the old Saab. Motorway driving with a top box gives exactly 30mpg. I only saw one other GS in the whole month! Plenty of RX's though. Driving thru the French Jura on country roads I note the hybrid is perfect. Hit the 30mph village limit and the engine turns off. Dawdle thru the village and emit zero pollution for the dear residents.
  19. Roads are all clear. Very efficient Swiss.
  20. Happy Christmas
  21. About 5 am the ploughs were out. Then some local kids in their Tesla came to do donuts in the carpark.
  22. Snow Lexus
  23. Boot space is awful for a huge car. Had to buy a roof box!
  24. Also had gs450h since early this year. Averages about 36mpg mixed driving. I find I drive it to max the mpg now, knowing it can do the business if need be. Just wants to be driven lazily.
