    Mine does sometimes squeal. Think it is rear brakes. New pads and discs on front were put on by a very competent mechanic.

    Decided to SORN Lexus from Sept to at least April next year, maybe even until August. Then the love affair can begin again. Lexus just doesn't fit in travel plans until Sept 2025. Promise to take it on a big Autumn jolly then.

    Already upped it from 5000 to 7500 mid term. Anyway, driving around France in Sept Oct in my other vehicle. Lexus will be stashed in the garage with a blanket.

    SC430 also gets really hot when worked hard. Coolant temp remains normal, electric fan not on but car radiates heat and stinks of heat!

    Just looked at odometer. I have a mileage allowance of 7500 miles on classic policy. Might even have to sorn it for a bit. Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec. That means I only have 368 miles left to play until Christmas!!! Driven 7132 miles so far this year. Beat that.

    Cannot really charge per mile without every single car having a telematic box installed. If odometer reading based then you get punished for taking your car abroad. Those pesky electric cars have complicated things for the Treasury. Maybe just a simple annual tax based on the weight of the vehicle to start with. But happy to pay my share because the alternative is seeing those Tory goons pontificating every day.

    This is the same guy who sold the grey one. Close to me. That was bought by a guy from France. This one is now sold.
