    You are going to buy another similar sized car? Would a smaller car for local duties not be more suitable? Sounds bonkers. Buy a brand new car then don't use it.

    Might be able to buy one wheel from a breakers and then put a few plastic bits on eBay to recoup. Paid £400 for 4 wheels for mine as it had nasty aftermarket rims when I bought it.

    Foot operated handbrake is a bit weird but works really well.

    They weigh so little but.......might feasibly affect wheel balance if one is missing.

    Battery anxiety alleviated until 2025 by having Lexus yearly hybrid check. Engine should be good for another 100,000 miles. Had mine for over a year now and nothing has actually failed, even though costs have been involved, but wear and tear is expected on any car over ten years old.

    £445 for rear shocks. Lexus quoted £495 on my safety report sheet. £50 for the kitty.

    Refurb. After market wheels are at best, unnecessary. Been there got the t-shirt (20 inch staggered....ugh!)

    I used mine for a minor service at Lexus Guildford. When dropping off car in he wrote add discount on the booking sheet. However no discount was explicitly shown on final bill. Final price was pretty much the same as initially quoted but with new windscreen wipers appearing to be thrown in as a freebie.

    Was tempted a few years ago. Kind of like the VW Phaeton. Where the company made a loss with each car sold. Other nominations. Saab 9000.

    Gs450h acceleration is as rapid as you want it to be. Seldom does it leave you wanting more. Boot space is the only gripe. RX450h may have the boot space but loses it big time in the looks department compared to the GS.

    I thought the GS450h was thought of as the sportier version of the LS600h. Just without the heavy baggage of Shiatsu massage options and horrendously expensive air suspension.

    Fired up this morning. Purple nearly empty showing on battery charge. Within three miles on a flat road it had reached green!

    I was interested to see the Lexus all clear, as I had recently had a Hunter alignment done. Last year they offered me an air con refresh, emphasis on the con. This year no effort to bump up the measly service bill. £240.

    Also took mine in yesterday. Intermediate service. Report does have 4 wheel geometry check. Mine was green. No attempt to con me.

    Mine goes green fairly often.

    Another year another Lexus main dealer service plus hybrid check. Intermediate service with new windscreen wipers. £220. Happy days. And this year they washed it! One shock absorber is showing signs of weeping.
