    They had the light over the parking bay thing in a by the way car park in Martigny. Only stopped for a rare brocante shop where we managed to pick up some very cheap Swedish ( in Switzerland) Dala horses. In Italy tonight on the non touristy western shore of Lake Orta. Tractors park in the square outside our window and old men chat in the shade. Nebbiolo and steak with lots of local mushrooms. Yum.

    Northern Italy tomorrow and the un-painted car parks. Running out of our French supermarket supplies. Cheaper to spend a night in Italy than shop in a Swiss supermarket!

    Parked in an underground car park today. Tyres squeaking on the shiny clean painted floors. EVERYONE here wears a mask in the shops. Other than that life is pretty normal. No Covid worries at all.

    If only Lexus did a proper estate......ideally with a V8 hybrid. Just don't really like the aesthetics of the RX450h.

    Leisurely drive this time, avoiding the toll motorways. No beats missed. Overnighted in Belgium and dropped through Luxembourg for fuel. 36mpg this time, keeping to 60ish. Only using super go go juice. Off to the Italian lakes for a few days tomorrow to grab some Nebbiolo 🍷. Top box does make the car less photogenic.

    Here again. Still getting some brake judder down hill but only when the hybrid battery is fully charged. Suspect a slightly warped disk.

    I had 20 inch staggered on mine when I got it. They were horrid to drive, rubbed on the arches and the cost of decent rubber for them was staggering! Would say 19 inch is as far as you should go. Unless you don't care about ride quality and prefer the look.

    Used a magnetic sticker on my boot last year. Can still see the area where it was placed. Marked paintwork a bit. Stuck it in exact same place this year. Going to take the chance with the Rozzers on the way back with the GB one.. Show them my outbound trip was before the rule was applied.

    Mine is a 59 plate as well, but pre face lift so I have a cassette player! In Switzerland right now. Car was a joy to drive down here. 36mpg with a top box.

    I doubt it will ever make it back on the road. Thought they could not be driven without hybrid battery. How will it even start?

    Why is a used RX450h so much more expensive than a GS450h? Is it because SUVs are just more "today"?

    Agree. Pop a DDD CD in there and have a good listen. Try to compare same music on cd and MP3. Some recordings simply sound better. Very pleased with my ML in my MK3 GS.

    I find if you wash the car then you have to have a ten mile drive to dry it thoroughly. Rather than Cornwall we will be driving to Switzerland next week. Probably cheaper anyway!

    Yes to Lexus hybrid health check. I use Lexus Indy when I can, eg radiator replacement but my last minor service at a main Lexus dealer was only £230 anyway.

    Depends how many kids. IQ is for 3.5 occupants. Had our for two years. Bombproof so far. Exactly same dash vent controls as my Lexus GS!
