  1. Ebay advert updated with better pics and £500 off.
  2. Still debating myself whether to scratch my itch. Even newer cars are 15 years old, so I would be more concerned with rust issues than mileage. One owner car who kept it in a garage would be nice.
  3. check out his other car! ROLL OVER BEETHOVEN! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175974746434?hash=item28f8e98942:g:vI0AAOSwMEBlLboQ&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwHxstetcE8Vyiiao0%2F%2FpOEoOkD9R%2FrQRR6sELJMVx%2F9Ap9mttVzCMpd1mm0Zy7xU%2BGr2Ki2V18SLK112%2Bv%2Fu8M0N%2FqFujl33WLpFG7ftXZaOldE9lW4Qdh%2BhEAjQGZEcR7UT9RvIiABy2POTCKIkgBeFcgxcpZdSNTUi2Zho8QRal1gwCPi%2BdZPiYCKgjDol4sJHL9gdeDPVlapUTTym81Vu2oQNq96LpoGh2Eg4bgguHU%2FXvL%2Fuj7E1mPQESOocZQ%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR-zmtoj7Yg
  4. Do we know if this has sold yet?
  5. Good price? How much do we think dealer paid?
  6. MOT history is good. ( I already have a motorhome)
  7. Low miles, excellent service history 2006 example. Grey. Tempting and only 5 miles away. Black interior though. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/176033529102?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=owymdgostdu&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=-Xw-SSzkQbS&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  8. Nankang tyres?
  9. Presumably ideal scenario here would have been timing belt done in 2013 and again in 2020?
  10. Very odd question. Can rear seats be easily removed? Extra luggage space for continental touring.
  11. Feel free to tell me the right price.
  12. I saw a red interior on an import. Spectacular! https://www.thecarwarehouse.co.uk/vehicle/754/toyota-soarer
  13. Cream. Pale beige. Whatever. Not black or grey or tan.
  14. Will probably be joining you on the search for same. Will be after a white interior, unless a red one pops up.
  15. Hows about this? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/285517646653?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=-ushGArsQ3W&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=-Xw-SSzkQbS&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  16. I drove nothing but Saab 9000's for nigh on 20 years. Now I grudgingly admit that my modern "old persons car" (Jazz) has better cornering capabilities and can illuminate the road ahead more safely. Still plan to buy a "toy" next year, possibly an SC430.
  17. You can get the attitude "I'd rather burn it than sell it to you at that price".
  18. It is a tv show! Like the instant home tv makeovers that leave the householders with shoddy work that has to be made good at a later stage. Back to electrifying vehicles. A while ago poor old Neil Young poured lots of his money into his LincVolt project....then Tesla came along to provide instant solutions to the likes of Moggy.
  19. Not many buyers for these cars. Folks are probably selling them at this age because they are afraid the next big bill will be more than the value of the car. As long as you have a decent contingency fund then go for it. First thing to look at for me would be quality matched tyres! Very first place people start to skimp.
  20. I am in a peculiar situation. Have a garage coming to me as soon as my 84 year old MIL (who lives next door) decides to give up driving. An SC430 will probably take the space. Sadly not this week!
  21. Date tested 2 October 2023 PASS Mileage 123,487 miles Test location View test location MOT test number 6121 9186 4842 Expiry date 1 October 2024 As I said initially. It LOOKS good value. Whether it is in the flesh....and the colour combo is nice.
  22. Sailed through MOT a week or so ago.....
  23. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/196021665280?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=OVujB_dKRSW&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=-Xw-SSzkQbS&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  24. Bit too small maybe?
