That's the fellah! Not going to drive out there. His definition of immaculate may also be open to question. And will not budge on price apparently. Thought it was a buyers market. Has the blue car got cream or ecru leather?

Have made enquiries on a few. Amazing how lacklustre peoples responses are. They are supposed to be selling their car to me! I am not prepared to go driving all over the country looking at cars that have been economic with the truth. One guy claiming his Powerflow exhaust has added 50bhp. No dyno printout....he just "knows".

Going to have a look at this on Saturday. Decided to stick with Ecru as the colour of choice. 5 owners, last serviced 2022 but has only done 20k miles in last ten years. No mention of cambelt and expect exhaust to be on last legs. But worth a look as it will only be a ten mile detour Trader so happy to walk away if not great.

I remember getting excited about the acceleration on a 205 turbo diesel we had. Once got wheelspin in third gear in a Saab 9000 turbo....that was a a trouser moment as well. .....and I hurt my back when I floored the GS450h. A Scottish chicane in a Capri with three passengers that could have ended with four dead students in a ditch. I dined out on my driving skills, but was really just very lucky in hindsight. And I can't believe the most I have EVER paid for a car is a Honda jazz!

Found one that misses the £695 tax cut off by FIVE days! Silver with black. 3 owners. 68k miles, 12 month mot. Cambelt done 17k miles ago. Front and rear cameras. £8295 Why all these bloody silver and black ones though! I appear to have got £8k as my upper limit for no great reason. Probably to justify buying a car that will be 20 years old before I know it.

Been there done that with my boys first insurance costs. Bank of dad. I drove a Rover 3500 when I was 19. (1982) Annual insurance was far more than value of car. I stumped up. Could have driven a Mini.

I am aware of this aspect. Not even a box of matches if I got a spare wheel! There is loads of space on the back seat for a jam sandwich or two.

What would necessitate this? Also boot seal seems unduly worn lower left side? Fired off some questions to seller.

It looks like an mot tester typo. Has no bearing today as is still a low miler and cam belt just done apparently. Might have a peek later.
