Not me! It seems there are very few blue/cream cars around post 2005. I had a blue/beige Saab 9000, and a blue/cream Saab 900 vert. I can patiently wait. If I bought one tomorrow it would spend most of the winter under cover any way.

I agree. I change mine on my motorhome at 7 years. And it is older than any SC430.

Another for sale. Cambelt done in 2012 at 86,000. Now on 133,000. Due one by age but not on miles. Would you?

Be good to know. Some sellers don't seem to factor this into their selling price, but secretly are very aware. In my limited research of these 20+ year old cars some have no evidence of cambelts ever having been done once, never mind the recommended twice. Also exhausts are likely getting on.

Have made enquiries on a few. Amazing how lacklustre peoples responses are. They are supposed to be selling their car to me! I am not prepared to go driving all over the country looking at cars that have been economic with the truth. One guy claiming his Powerflow exhaust has added 50bhp. No dyno printout....he just "knows".

Going to have a look at this on Saturday. Decided to stick with Ecru as the colour of choice. 5 owners, last serviced 2022 but has only done 20k miles in last ten years. No mention of cambelt and expect exhaust to be on last legs. But worth a look as it will only be a ten mile detour Trader so happy to walk away if not great.

I remember getting excited about the acceleration on a 205 turbo diesel we had. Once got wheelspin in third gear in a Saab 9000 turbo....that was a a trouser moment as well. .....and I hurt my back when I floored the GS450h. A Scottish chicane in a Capri with three passengers that could have ended with four dead students in a ditch. I dined out on my driving skills, but was really just very lucky in hindsight. And I can't believe the most I have EVER paid for a car is a Honda jazz!
